The museum is located in a modern industrial-style building and looks modern and stylish. As soon as you enter the exhibition hall, what catches your eye is a giant interactive projection wall that projects the history of the development of communication technology. Through interactive manipulation, we gradually experienced the transformation process from the earliest old-fashioned telegraph to today's advanced 5G communication technology.
Next, we came to the theme exhibition area of the exhibition hall, which fully displayed the infrastructure and technology overview of the telecommunications industry. Not only did we get a glimpse of the original appearance of early analog telephones, we even experienced the process of connecting calls using old telephone wires. What excited me most was seeing the giant fiber optic projection screen, which showed the full picture of how fiber optic cables transmit information data in the network backbone.
In addition to technological products, the working environment and operating models of various fields in the telecommunications industry are also introduced here. We walked into the simulated computer room and learned how it works through the racks and cooling systems; we also climbed onto the simulated base stations and transmission stations to understand how they release radio waves for communication. We were also fortunate enough to take a peek inside the telecommunications company's network monitoring center to learn the secrets of network operations and data traffic.
With the detailed explanation of the official tour guide, I gained a new understanding of this telecommunications technology that is widely used in all aspects of life but often overlooked. From the early bulky signal systems to the ubiquitous communication networks of today, the revolutionary changes along the way are breathtaking, and have made me deeply appreciate the convenience and universal access to information brought about by technological evolution. This museum trip undoubtedly broadened my horizons and imagination about the telecommunications industry.
