[2025 Yufu Stay] Travel Guide for Musouen (Updated Mar)

In early November, the weather in Yufuin is slightly cool. At night, the temperature is perfect for soaking in hot springs. We chose a secluded hot spring resort. The scenery upon arrival was beautiful. We walked all the way from Yufuin Station, enjoying the countryside scenery of Japan. The breeze was gentle, and the air was very fresh. The temperature of the hotel's spring water was just right. Soaking in the hot spring while admiring the beautiful scenery washed away all our physical and mental fatigue 😊

#Hot spring trip I've never been to Yufuin before, so I was looking for a place with an open-air bath and the prettiest view, and this was the accommodation I was looking for. It really is one of the top five views among all the Yufuin ryokans! The first picture is of the women-only open-air bath at Musouen Ryokan. You shouldn't take pictures, but I took one secretly because no one was there haha I visited in January, and it was like heaven on earth, soaking in warm water in the cold winter weather, and it was snowing, so it was really heavenlyㅠㅠ Musouen also offers kaiseki, so I applied, but I was worried because there was a bad taste, but it suited our taste well I really recommend Musouen to those who are going to Yufuin👍🏻#JapanTravel #Yufuin #YufuinRyokan #Musouen #FukuokaTravel

#TravelItinerary I went to Fukuoka for 3 nights and 4 days, and spent 1 night at Yufuin, a ryokan village nearby! Since it was my first trip to Fukuoka, I thought I would only stay in Fukuoka, but I really wanted to go to Yufuin, so we went there right after arriving at the airport🖤 Actually, we didn't have much time the next day, so we were pressed for timeㅠㅠ If you want to tour Yufuin more leisurely, I recommend the second day, unless you arrive early on the first day!! I'll share with you our 2-day, 1-night itinerary in Yufuin, near Fukuoka~! Day 1: Airport - Bus transfer - Supermarket shopping - Musouen check-in - Hot springs, Kaiseki dinner - Hot springs again, then a drink at the hotel and then sleep Day 2: Breakfast - Check-out - Musouen cafe - Kinrinko Lake - Floral Village - Yufuin street view - Golden croquette - Train [Recommended attractions] 1. Kinrinko Lake: The most famous place in Yufuin is Kinrinko Lake. I've seen a lot of photos of it so I wanted to go there, and we went in the morning, and the fog hanging over the river was really spectacular! I was overwhelmed by the charming Kinrinko, and there were a lot of tourists. 2. Yufuin Street: The city of Yufuin is smaller than I thought, so two hours is enough to see everything! It's called Yunotsubo Street, and there are many cute shops and delicious restaurants like Kumsan Croquette, so I recommend you take your time looking around👍🏻 【Recommended hotels】 1. It was really beautiful, and there were also two open-air baths that you could use privately! It was enough even without a private ryokan in the room. And the dinner kaiseki was perfect for our taste. Breakfast was also delicious, and why is the white rice so delicious??ㅋㅋㅋㅋThe rice was so delicious. 【Travel tips】 We went over as soon as we arrived and went over to Fukuoka the next day, but it was a bit tighter than we thought! There was more to see than I thought, and there was a lot to see, so I recommend a leisurely 1 night 2 day trip👍🏻

#2025OverseasTravelEvent Musouen eats dinner and breakfast separately in the restaurant, not in each room! Rather, it seems better because the smell of food does not permeate the room! Breakfast is a Japanese set meal, but the white rice is so delicious that I want to keep eating it. There were a lot of pickled vegetables as side dishes, but fortunately, it suited my taste well.

#2025OverseasTravelEvent If you go all the way into the lobby of Yufuin Musouen, there is a cafe. It is a cafe run by the cafe itself, but you can only pay in cash. I think the coffee was around 500 yen. I had a cup of coffee in a place with a view of the beautiful snow-covered mountains. It was so, so good. If you go to Musouen, I recommend having a cup of coffee here.

#When you go to Yufuin, #Musouen day hot spring is a must‼️ Musouen operates a ryokan, but there is also a separate hot spring for outside customers. It takes about 20 minutes on foot from Yufuin Station, so I recommend taking a taxi.
