2025 Surrey Travel Guide: Must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transportation routes (updated in August)

I am so lucky and grateful to have the chance to stay at Vancouver for 10 days during my time here in Canada. In these 10 days, my cousin took me to different places, and here I’ll share some of my favorite spots in Vancouver. 🏞️Stanley Park Stanley Park is really one of the most beautiful parks in Vancouver. There are many beautiful creatures like little ducks residing there. If you keep walking, you will reach the ocean and have a nice sunset view. I see many people jogging and biking there. You can really feel the liveliness from this place. 📍Vancouver, BC V6G 1Z4, Canada 🌃Vancouver Downtown At the downtown, you can see the age old steamed clock. My favorite restaurant there is The Old Spaghetti Factory🍝The price is reasonable and not pricy in the central part of Vancouver where everything is somewhat a little bit more expensive. 🏮China Town🪭 Vancouver is a city with Asian immigrants, so in China Town, you can see a lot of historical Chinese buildings and get the taste of the eastern aesthetic. 🚉Vancouver Sky Train Vancouver Sky Train is an affordable way to move around in the city. I like the design of it and on the Sky Train you can see many different views of Vancouver. 🐠Steveston Fisherman’s Wharf, Richmond🐟 This is a place where you can enjoy the breeze of the sea from the Pacific Ocean. At around 4p.m. in winter time, the sunset is beautiful to witness here🌅Also, you should definitely have the classy fish and chips here. The fish is fresh and crispy, and it’s nice to eat it with the costal view and sunset. 📍3800 Bayview St, Richmond, BC V7E 6K7, Canada 🌊Rocky Point Park You have to go to Rocky Point Ice Cream🍦if you visit here. See how the dog wants the ice cream so bad? Don’t worry, they even make ice cream for dogs to eat!🐾At the park, you can walk along the coast but also enjoy walking in the forest. It’s a nice and relaxing place to go to. 📍2800 Murray St, Port Moody, BC V3H 1X2, Canada 🌲Kushiro Park, Burnaby This park is named after the sister city Kushiro in Japan, so when you visit there, you can see some traditional wood carving statue of Japan. The forest is very beautiful with gigantic trees for you to enjoy and relax. The weather there is cozy, not too hot and not too cold, so you can have a relaxing walk there. 📍464 Centennial Way, Burnaby, BC V5A 1G9, Canada Vancouver is really one of the most cozy places to live in the world. The temperature and the humidity is both at the right spot. The city is mixed with modernness and nature, so you still can feel relaxed in this big city. In the Indian community of Vancouver, thousands of people wore traditional The Punjabi costumes are surrounded by floats. There are different stalls along the street, offering a wide range of free food, from traditional Indian street food Pani Puri balls, crispy fried dumplings, spicy curry to milk tea with nuts. Smooth ice cream, anyone can enjoy it!

Montauk Point Lighthouse Historical Background The easternmost lighthouse in New York State was built in 1796 and was an important facility for the coastal defense of the United States during World War II. The light is 33.7 meters high and has a brightness of 290,000 candles. It is called "the end of the world." Highlights • The best sunset view is between 4 and 6 p.m. The lighthouse presents a pink-gold hue under the sunset, which is suitable for taking Japanese-style photos • Historical exploration Visit the interior of the lighthouse to learn about its navigation function and World War II history. The top floor overlooks the Atlantic Ocean • Surrounding activities Take a walk along the trail next to the lighthouse or go to the nearby wheat fields to take pictures of the pastoral scenery Transportation recommendations Drive from Manhattan for about 2.5 hours along the Long Island Highway; there is a parking lot next to the lighthouse. Peace Arch Park The transnational park spans the US-Canada border and consists of Canadian provincial parks and US state parks. The arch symbolizes the peaceful spirit of the 1814 Treaty of Ghent Highlights • Check in at the arch The arch is 20 meters high The crossbeams are taken from the Canadian steamship "Beaver" and the American "Mayflower". The bottom is engraved with "1814 OPEN DOORS OF PEACE 1921". • The border picnic park has lawns, stone gardens and indoor picnic areas. You can bring picnic mats (barbecues are prohibited) and enjoy cross-border leisure time • The park on the US side of the border is open and tourists can pass freely; the Canadian side needs to confirm the opening status in advance due to management policies Practical tips • Avoid occupying private driveways when parking. If you are not crossing the border to the United States but only going to Peace Arch Provincial Park on the US-Canada border, it is best not to take 99 and turn right at Beach Rd to the parking lot behind the duty-free shop. There are many cars crossing the border to the United States on holidays and it is easy to get stuck. You can take 99 and then get off at 8Ave, turn right and drive to the end of 172st, park on the side of the road and walk over.
