• Plan at least 3 hours if you want to visit all four sites.
🏛 What to Expect Inside
1️⃣ Doge’s Palace – The Main Highlight
• Stunning Gothic architecture with golden ceilings, intricate paintings, and grand halls.
• The Chamber of the Great Council – One of the largest rooms in Europe, featuring Tintoretto’s masterpiece, Paradise.
• The Bridge of Sighs – Walk through this historic bridge, where prisoners took their final look at Venice before imprisonment.
• The Prisons – Dark, eerie cells where the infamous Casanova was once held.
2️⃣ Museo Correr
• Located in St. Mark’s Square, showcasing Venetian history, art, and neoclassical rooms.
3️⃣ National Archeological Museum
• Small but filled with ancient Greek and Roman sculptures, coins, and relics.
4️⃣ Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana
• A stunning historical library with rare manuscripts and beautiful frescoes.
📝 My Review
• Worth it? ✅ Yes! The Doge’s Palace alone is breathtaking, and the other three sites are great add-ons.
• Time needed? ⏳ At least 3 hours if you want to see everything properly.
• Crowds? 🚶♂️ Very crowded, especially mid-day. I recommend early morning or late afternoon visits.
• Photos? 📸 Some areas don’t allow photos, so be mindful.
• Final verdict? ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A must-visit in Venice!
Would I go again? Probably not, since it’s a one-time experience, but I’d highly recommend it for first-time visitors!
