This is the oldest mountain hut in Japan in Murodo. It was actually used as a mountain lodging facility (mountain hut) until the 1980s, and as it was designated as a cultural heritage building, a new mountain villa was built next to it, and the mountain hut is now preserved as a nationally designated important cultural property. stand up. According to the excavation survey conducted during the dismantling and repairing, religious relics from the 12th century were discovered, and the foundation stones of the buildings built around the 15th century were confirmed. From this, it was possible to determine the location of the mountain hut from the Kamakura period. From the beginning, some monks and practitioners held some kind of religious activities. The existing building was rebuilt by the Kaga Domain in 1726. The pillars with a thickness of nearly 30cm seem to have been harvested from the virgin forest of "Beauty Ping", but the transportation method is still full of mysteries. This cottage has gone through a long period of more than 280 years since it was rebuilt.
