Hidden Gem Coffee Shop in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul
Every time I visit Seoul, I love exploring new neighborhoods. This time, I specifically came to Mullae-dong to find unique shops. This area used to be Seoul's heavy industrial zone, filled with metal processing factories. However, as times changed, many factories closed or relocated. In recent years, artists and creative workers have moved in, transforming old factories into galleries, studios, cafes, and cultural spaces, giving the area a strong industrial retro and artistic vibe. Today, I want to introduce 'Mullae Banggu,' a cafe and multi-cultural space converted from an old factory.
Mullae Banggu not only retains the original industrial structure but also incorporates many unique decorative details, creating an atmosphere that is both rugged and warm. Inside, you can enjoy coffee, and in the deepest part, there is an art studio, creative courses, and even unique design items for sale. Moreover, it is a pet-friendly restaurant, so you can bring your furry friends along.
The overall environment is full of artistic vibes. If you are looking for a low-key yet distinctive niche cafe, this place will definitely meet your expectations, allowing you to enjoy the unique blend of industrial and creative charm in Mullae-dong in a relaxed atmosphere!
