Today, I put everything aside and took the high-speed train to Huangshan with my friends again, wanting to take in all the beautiful scenery. We set off from Hefei to Huangshan North. Because we had done our research, we went straight to the No.1 bus stop in the square in front of the station after getting off the train. The bus runs every 25 minutes. We took the No.1 bus to Xiuning Passenger Transport West Station, then changed to the 202 to Muliangzhuang Mountain Pass. There are not many buses for this route, so if you miss it, you can take the 201 to Xikou. You can charter a car from Xikou to Muliangzhuang for 40 yuan. We chartered a car from Xikou. The mountain road is not easy to walk, so friends who drive must pay attention to safety. We arrived at Xikou around noon and planned to have lunch before going to Muliangzhuang. There are few places to eat on the streets of Xikou. The only place that made me feel lively was a shop that served fried rice cakes with noodles. The rice cakes fried by the boss's wife were unforgettable. A 10 yuan serving of fried rice cakes had six or seven side dishes, and the taste was excellent. The boss also kindly served a bowl of noodle soup. Unfortunately, I forgot the name of the shop, but there are few places to eat on that street, and their business is the best, so it's easy to find. After lunch, we found a car to take us to Muliangzhuang. On the way, the driver told us that if we didn't stay on the mountain, we could hike along the Dream Ancient Trail on the mountain to Zuyuan Village after visiting Muliangzhuang. We were very excited to hear this, as we love hiking and would not miss it. The driver also left his phone number for us in case we couldn't get a car when we came out, which was very thoughtful. Muliangzhuang is located on a high mountain, and cars can't go up. The parking lot at the foot of the mountain is not very large, so it is not recommended to drive to the foot of the mountain during the tourist season. In this way, you can avoid going back the same way when you come down the mountain, and directly hike 5 kilometers from the Dream Ancient Trail on the mountain to Zuyuan Village. This way, you can visit both villages. After climbing hundreds of steps from the foot of the mountain, we finally arrived at the village known as "the most beautiful high mountain village in Huangshan". The beauty lies in the sea of clouds, the sunrise and sunset, the stars, the terrain, the drying platforms, and everywhere. A best photography point has been specially set up on the opposite mountain, where you can take a panoramic view of the village. On a good morning, you can see the entire village surrounded by a sea of clouds, full of fairy spirit, like a paradise on earth. This time we had other schedules and didn't stay in the village for a night. It's a pity that we didn't take pictures of the sea of clouds. Zuyuan Village has a long history, and there are still ancient trees, bridges, wells and other historical sites in the village, especially the hundreds of years old Taxus chinensis is amazing. Before we knew it, it was already past four in the afternoon. We had to rush to Qiyun Mountain in the evening, so we asked the driver who brought us here to pick us up and take us to the bus station.
