The Museo-
The Museo-Biblioteca de Filipinas, which was founded on August 12, 1887, by a Royal Order of the Spanish Government, was the forerunner of the National Museum of the Philippines. However, it was disbanded in 1900 as the American occupatinn of the Philippines began. The Insular Museum of Ethnology, Natural History, and Commerce, which opened on October 29, 1901, is regarded as the National Museum's direct forerunner.

National Museum of Anthropology
"The National Museum of Anthropology, formerly known as the Museum of the Filipino People, is a component museum of the National Museum of the Philippines which houses Ethnological and Archaeological exhibitions."
Visiting one of the National Museums of the Philippines was exciting. I and my family first visited the Museum of Anthropology. The Museum has four floors, in each floor has rooms that exhibit different cultural items that were preserved for decades. There were different halls featuring the cultural heritage of the Filipino people. This is a great place to learn and be reminded of the Filipino culture and history.Visit this place to know more about Filipino's cultural background. #nationalmuseumofthephilippines

Mount Pulag, Philippines
#mountainhike
Mount Pulag, known as the “Playground of the Gods,” is famous for its stunning "sea of clouds" at sunrise. The mountain, standing at 2,926 meters, is the third-highest in the Philippines. The hike caters to various skill levels, with the Ambangeg Trail being the easiest and the Akiki Trail offering a more challenging route. Trekkers pass through mossy forests, grasslands, and scenic ridges. Mount Pulag is also home to diverse ecosystems and endemic species. The hike requires a permit to ensure conservation efforts. It’s a magical experience for hikers seeking breathtaking landscapes and serene mountain vibes.

Camping Shenanigans🏕
#campingfun
Camping is indeed a blast! It connects us with nature. And there will always be adventure and exploration that will make quality time with friends.
We have to set up our tents in a covered area since the weather isn't so good. Setting up the tent was like a team-building activity and, at the same time, bonding. After setting up, we started to have bonfire and share campfire stories.
We also have other activities like hiking and trekking. We even go to Longog Cave.#kabayan

Sea of clouds! Feels like heaven!
Mount Pulag (2928 MASL) is the highest peak of Luzon and the 3rd highest mountain in the Philippines (next to Mt Apo and Mt Dulang-Dulang, both in Mindanao).
It is a dormant volcano. 🌋
The entire mountain is believed to be the home to the tinmongao spirits and is the sacred resting ground of the souls of the Ibaloi people and other ethnic peoples in the area.
Mt Pulag is the natural habitat of the dwarf bamboo and the Benguet pine. It also has many species of birds.
Mount Pulag is mainly famous for its "sea of clouds" and its view of the Milky Way which attract many tourists. On February 17, 2024 there were supposedly 600+ people awaiting those phenomenon on the peak. If crowds are not what you want to experience in the mountains, you have to avoid weekends and public holidays.

A hidden lake in Benguet!🇵🇭
#timetotravel
Lake Tabeo was an absolute haven of tranquility and natural beauty. Nestled amidst lush greenery, this hidden gem provided a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Upon arriving at Lake Tabeo, I was captivated by the serenity that enveloped the area. The stillness of the water, interrupted only by the occasional ripple, created a sense of peace and tranquility that instantly relaxed my mind and soul. The lush green surroundings and the cool breeze added to the overall sense of calmness and made it a perfect spot for a leisurely stroll or a peaceful picnic. If you're seeking a place to unwind and reconnect with nature, I highly recommend a visit to the serene beauty of Lake Tabeo.
Entrance fee: 350 you need to pay more if you are camping over night.
Address: Tabeo Lake, Kabayan, Benguet.

Getting There - From Baguio City, you may hire a jeepney who can take you straight to Kabayan. This is by far the most practical mode of transport, especially for traveling in groups. The most common route is through Halsema Highway, passing through the Highest Point of the Philippine Highway System in Atok, Benguet.
