A day trip to Izu Kogen

The famous places in Izu Kogen are Omuroyama and Jōgasaki Coast. Omuroyama and Mount Fuji have the same charm, both are conical, and they look like wonderful hills that only appear in paintings. The 580-meter-high Omuroyama is made up of debris after the volcanic eruption. Jōgasaki Coast was formed by the lava that flowed out when Omuroyama volcano erupted about 4000 years ago. You can take a walk along the coastline of about 9km. In particular, the "Monet Suspension Bridge" with a total length of 48m and a height of about 23m is a thrilling and breathtaking spot.
