[Philippines] Mount Samat
I went to Mount Samat in the Philippines!
The distinctive feature here is the cross that stands on the top of the mountain.
It is a memorial site for those who died in World War II.

Get High With Valor @ Mount Samat
There will never be a single gesture which can properly appreciate the gallantry by the men and womwn who fought for our freedoms.
The Mt. Samat National Shrine does its best to show how we can take to heights our salute to the soldier who fought in World War 2.
With great views of the Bataan and Pampanga Plains; with even a glimpse of Metro Manila out in the horizon - being here is awe-inspiring and breath-taking. While it can be a short drive up the mountain, this site can be best experienced as a walking trail from the National Road all the way to the Flag.
Mabuhay and Pilipinas!
