Mount Rokko is a must visit mountain for its very stunning view from the top. This is the highest peak in the Rokko located near Kobe, Japan. You can see the Osaka bay and nature bounty from the top of the mountain thats why it is famous and popular to hikers and nature lover persons. The summit of Mt. Rokko has even been called one of the top three views in Japan. Though it looks like difficult, I, myself made it even though I’m a begginer in terms of hike. So you might can do it also.

Visitors can hike or take the scenic cable car to the top, where attractions like Rokko Garden Terrace and the scenic Rock Garden await. The night view, one of Japan’s "Three Great Night Views," is stunning. On clear days, the summit offers sweeping vistas, while its cooler air provides a refreshing retreat in summer. Kobe Travel Parent-Child CityWalk 2-Day Tour Guide
🚢 Kobe is really a leisurely and chill, a seaside city where history and fashion coexist, with convenient transportation. It's only half an hour from Osaka by JR, especially suitable for parent-child roaming
🍃 One side is the mountain and the other is the sea, with Japanese bustling streets in between. Climb mountains for a distant view, play in the ranch, walk by the sea, and enjoy the traditional and tasty beef~

💚 Two-day itinerary 💚
D1 Kitano Ijinkan Street → Anpanman Museum → Mosaic Ferris Wheel → Umie Mall → Kobe Port Night View
D2 Mount Maya → Rokko Mountain Ranch
•
⭐️ Kitano Ijinkan Street: A street where foreigners lived in the past. You can overlook the sea from the mountain, with various Western-style buildings. Now it has been transformed into museums, coffee shops, and bakeries. The first Starbucks in Japan is also here
⭐️ Kobe Anpanman Museum (tickets sold until 4:00 PM): No child doesn't love Anpanman. There are three stage performances a day, DIY mask-making, and a super cute amusement park on the second floor, a mini-museum, slides, and a small kitchen. On the first floor, there are peripheral toys and gourmet food, an outdoor mini train, and delicious bread
⭐️ Mount Maya and Rokko Mountain
Take the cable car up Mount Maya, and you can take a bus to and from Rokko Mountain Ranch. This place is really the ceiling of the ranch, with more than 100 sheep running freely in the ranch. You can buy feed to feed them, and there are restaurants, bakeries, and gift shops on the mountain top

Take the tram and bus! A beautiful trip to Kobe, Japan alone
This is one of the series of magnificent sceneries I saw in Japan, by taking the train and bus. The destination of this month is... Kobe, which is full of tourist attractions! All photos are only taken by public transportation! You can tour without driving 🚃
From next month, I will focus on Luminarie held in January, as well as the famous Onsen (hot spring), and Mountain known for its art, and popular Starbucks branches, etc., this is the route I actually spent 2 days and 1 night walking.
My favorite memory is overlooking the Luminarie from the business hotel where I happened to stay, it was really great...✨

Overlooking the million-night view of Kobe! Rokko Mountain viewing guide!
Kobe city is surrounded by the Rokko mountain range, with Mount Maya being the highest peak. Various observation platforms and tourist facilities have been built on the mountain, including the Rokko Mountain Ranch where visitors can get up close with small animals, the vibrant Nunobiki Herb Garden, and the Music Box Museum, all of which are great for family outings.
Overlooking the evening scenery of Kobe from Mount Rokko, known as the "Million Night View" or even the "Ten Million Dollar Night View", it may be a manifestation of the island country mentality to be amazed by it. There are two places to enjoy the view, one is the observation deck on Mount Rokko, which has some limitations due to a mountain blocking the view, and the other is the place where the Maya Cable Car comes up, with a wider and unobstructed view.
Mount Rokko is located in North Kobe, adjacent to the Tokaido Shinkansen. Taking the North Kobe subway in Kobe will lead you to Shin-Kobe, where you can directly hike to the cable car station. Those with good physical strength can climb the mountain, where there are Western-style buildings, cafes, gift shops, and more, resembling a small town in Europe. From there, you can overlook Kobe Port and feel refreshed!

Rokko mountain is so beautiful
Kingmotto
Liujia Mountain is located near Kobe, and the mountainous area is designated as the Seto Inland National Park. It is famous for its night scenes. The observation deck on the mountain is 737.5 meters above sea level, from which you can see the panoramic view of Kobe Port at night. Of course, Rokko Mountain is not only a night view, but also a variety of attractions in the mountains. It is worth a good day.
Surprisingly, from the gates of Rokko Mountain to the many buildings on the hill, there is a full European retro style. Due to the strong temperature difference between the foot of the mountain and the top of the mountain, there will even be a wonderful experience of spring, summer, autumn and winter in one day. When the weather is good, you can see it on the observation deck, even the coastlines of the Osaka Plain, Kansai Airport and the distant Wakayama.
Take the cable car of Rokko Mountain all the way up, whether it is the Music Box Museum or the Mountain Ski Resort is a small surprise. Waiting for the afterglow to be exhausted, the hustle and bustle gradually sinks, and at the viewing platform, you can enjoy the "Millions of Night Scenes" that are shocked by the Liujia Mountain. The lights under the night sky seem to be the Milky Way reflected by the sea, and the city of Kobe, Ashiya, Nishinomiya, Amagasaki and other cities around Osaka are all in sight. . Compared with Tokyo, Osaka, there is a more comfortable and comfortable place here.
Shirley Zhu.
There are many places where children can be played on Liujia Mountain, such as alpine pastures, such as the Music Box Museum. It is a pity that the two places are at two ends. It is too hasty to catch two places in one day, so we only went to the Music Box Museum. It was found that this decision was too wise, because it was just a good time to arrange a round trip to Kobe.
You can take a cable car with local characteristics under the Rokko Mountain. When you get to the mountain, transfer to the bus to where you want to go. We went up the mountain to the scenic spot of Liujia Mountain. Even if you can't wait to see the night scene of Rokko Mountain at night, it is a good choice to climb the sky in good weather. Eat an ice cream at the top of the mountain, drink a bowl of meatball soup, and stand on the top of the mountain to see the high-rise Umeda in Osaka. At this moment, I can't help but sigh the degree of urbanization in Japan.
