The mountains of the main church building are the beginning of the fourth century, this is an important monument of Christianity and Judaism. Mount Nebo is located about 32 kilometers southwest of Jordan's capital Amman. For Christians, Mount Nebo is not a strange place. Mentioned in the Bible, this is the place that witnessed Moses heading towards the promised land before his death. From here, the Holy Land spreads out before the viewer, and part of the valley of the Jordan River can even be seen. Like Jerusalem, the city of Jericho on the West Bank can be seen on clear days. The ancient church, built in the style of a cathedral, was expanded at the end of the 5th century and then restored in 597. A total of six tombs were found here.
