[Nagano Prefecture/Suwa City: Yellow flowers blooming in Kirigamine, which is cool even in summer, are called "Day Hemerocallis"]
#Travelwithme #Nagano #Kirigamine #Daylily #VenusHill #KurumayamaKata
Every year, 260,000 Daylilies bloom from late June to late July, creating a beautiful yellow carpet all around.
When I visited on 4/7/2024, there were still many buds, so I think they will be in full bloom next week or the week after.
Local volunteers have set up electric fences at the "KurumayamaKata Daylily Colony" and "VenusHill" to protect the flower buds from being eaten by Japanese deer.
In addition to the Daylilies, you can also enjoy a panoramic view of the vast mountains, forests, and other beautiful nature, and you can also enjoy walking along the trekking course to the Yashima Marshland 🥾
It can get a little cold even in midsummer, so I recommend bringing something to put on!
