Out of all the other hikes and trails available, Mount Coo-Tha was chosen because it was located comparatively nearer to the city centre than the rest. We then passed by a picturesque lake area that looked perfect for a picnic, but as we were told that the gate to the trail closes at 4pm, we couldn’t spend much time taking photos here. There were water fountains at certain points of the journey, which was great because I only had a half-empty 500ml bottle of water with me (don’t be like me, please bring enough water!). The trails were generally moderate in terms of difficulty, with some parts easier than others. There were a few steep-ish uphill climbs which required some level of fitness to surmount, but going at my own pace and taking short breaks really helped. The path was sufficiently wide and level, making for a smoother ascend. While it was a good feeling being able to make it up to the lookout, I thought the view didn’t justify the amount of effort it took us to get there. Also, there weren’t many breath-taking scenes along the way except that lake area, not sure if it was a seasonal thing but many trees were either bare or had browning leaves. During the trip to Brisbane, I enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the city! From the top of the mountain, I could see the entire city and the skyline. Brisbane looked particularly charming against the blue sky. The high-rise buildings at night, under the lights, showed the modernity of the city. The scenery of Brisbane is really intoxicating. Mount Coot-Tha is a small mountain located about 20 minutes by car from Brisbane City. From the lookout, you can enjoy the breathtaking sunrise over Brisbane. I took a taxi from Brisbane City around 5:30 AM in mid-August to catch the sunrise. Unfortunately, it was a foggy day, but the sun was so intense that I could still see the sunrise clearly. The sight of the sun rising above the thick fog was truly magnificent. There were several photographers with large cameras trying to capture the sunrise view from Mount Coot-Tha. Witnessing such a beautiful sunrise in the morning made my trip to Brisbane even more fulfilling. If you want to experience a sunrise in Brisbane, I highly recommend the Mount Coot-Tha Summit Lookout 🌞💗

#Overseas travel When you see Brisbane from here, it feels really small There are only tall buildings in the city, so you can tell where they are from afar And there are no mountains around, so it's wide open and you can see everything at a glance, which was really amazing A view you can't see in Korea And Australia has really good air, because the visibility is really long It's pretty at sunset and at night, and the stars you see here are really pretty I recommend it as a great driving course
