A hotel located in Bandai Asahi National Park. The view of Urabandai's nature from the room window looks like a painting. The hotel was renovated by three architects from a 40-year-old mountain lodge. The warm and relaxing atmosphere. And the delicious Aizu food and hot springs were soothing. We were able to stroll around the swamp on the premises, and it was a pleasant hotel in harmony with nature. Hoteli means hotel in Finnish and Aalto means wave. The hotel is Nordic style with beautiful interior and a relaxing space. A little off topic, but after staying in a small tent (mat & sleeping bag) for several nights, I was really grateful for the hotel bed. We went to the Goshikinuma Pond on the middle of Feb. The pond trail is about 3.6 km in length and it takes about 70 to 90 minutes one way. It is a relatively flat hiking course. The environment and the view is so snowy and quiet. An approximately four-kilometer walking path from Lake Bishamon, the largest of the five lakes, to Lake Hibara affords people a view of all five lakes.
