It's already over, but the annual Dior Christmas pop-up store🌠 I visited just before the event ended, so I regret not posting earlier😖‼ ️ However, if you live far away, it's hard enough to schedule to make it to the event💦💦 There were other CHANEL events and lots of illuminations I wanted to go to, but I'll skip them for now considering the time💭 I thought I'd go to the cafe first, but it seems like you can only use the cafe after you've entered the event😂 Before I got in line, I was told that I'd have to wait 40 minutes! #2024wish Mohri Garden (named after the astronaut Dr. Mamoru Mohri) is in Roppongi Hills right outside TV Asahi building. It is a small Japanese garden with waterfalls, streams, plants, trees (especially cherry blossom trees) and a pond in the center. The fish you see in the pond is medaka, they are offsprings of the fish Dr. Mohri took with him to space. The gold heart sculpture, “Kin no Kokoro” (by Jean-Michel Othoniel) is at the pond. Naturally, it is a place to go “hanami”, to enjoy the beauty of sakura.

Many people who arrive at the Roppongi Hills plaza from the Metro Hat on the Hibiya Line will be surprised by how many people there are. Proceed through the plaza with the spider art, which is the most crowded, towards Keyakizaka, get off the escalator and turn left to find the Mohri Garden. It gets crowded when there are events, but the walking paths are relatively quiet, making it the perfect place to take a break when you're tired of the crowds. The garden is also a spot where you can encounter scenery that changes with the seasons. #TokyoSightseeing While strolling around Roppongi Hills, I came across Mori Garden, located on the site of Mori Mototsuna's Azabu residence. I took the escalator down. The garden is not large, but there was a golden heart-shaped object in the pond. This is the residence where 10 Ako Roshi committed seppuku. The TV Asahi headquarters building was right in front of me, and I took a photo with it as the background. Mori Garden, Remains of Mori Kai no Kami Residence A historic site in Roppongi, Minato-ku, Tokyo, the former site of Mori Tsunamoto's Azabu residence. Currently, the Mori Garden in Roppongi Hills is an urban oasis. There is a signpost next to the gourd pond indicating that it is the former site. Ten of the 47 Ako Roshi who attacked Kira Kozukenosuke's residence were taken care of at the Mori residence. (I'm watching reruns of Chushingura over the New Year holidays, which makes me a little sad) There are ducks in the pond, and the cherry blossoms and autumn leaves are beautiful, so before COVID-19, flower viewing parties and beer gardens were held here.
