After living in Beijing for 10 years, I've finally experienced the lively atmosphere of Beijing! - Moon River Night Market
I spent the weekend strolling and eating at the Tongzhou Moon River Town night market, which was bustling with people; there were about 200+ stalls, all full. It was really crowded! The place was brilliantly lit, a combination of delicious food and fun. To add to the festive atmosphere, spotlights were installed on the upper floors, shining down and casting different patterns on the ground.
📍Location: Moon River Leisure Town is next to the Grand Canal Forest Park. After visiting the night market, you can take a walk by the canal and enjoy the beautiful night view of the canal.
Eat, drink, and play all in one
The snack street at the southernmost end has skewers, grilled cold noodles, grilled squid, fried yogurt, lemon tea, stinky tofu, and more. The street is fragrant and packed with people!
There are some amusement park facilities, such as a carousel, a small train, etc., costing 40-50 yuan for one adult and one child.
Feeding pigeons, the pigeons at the Peace Dove Square are not afraid of people, and my child rushed over the first time he saw them, haha
There are some small animals like peacocks, big-hearted geese, etc., and some cute dolls that everyone loves.
◎Night market features: Keep walking east into the night market to find a concentrated area of snack stalls. There are about 50 types of food, including strong-flavored pork intestines with green onions, popular Gansu Tianshui spicy hot pot, bizarre fried various insects, refreshing pineapple smoothies, and creative grilled cotton candy ice cream.
②There is also a north-south street with stalls mainly selling toys, handicrafts, coffee, pets, and novel trinkets.
Town environment: The town has a particularly good atmosphere, with many small landscapes designed for photo opportunities, as well as children's amusement facilities, making it a paradise for families in Tongzhou.
