#familytrips2024 Early February 2024, my family and I had the chance to visit Hong Kong. One of the place that we decide not to miss out is Monopoly Dreams since our family is a big fan of the board game. It is located at the Victoria Peak and we took The Peak Tram, which take approximately 8 to 10 minutes to reach there. Lots of activity can be done there such as joining Mr. Monopoly on an adventure at the Train Station (4D cinema), print your own unique Title Deed (free of charge), collect as much money (Monopoly banknotes) as you can by stepping into those special boxes at Ultimate Banking and joining some interactive activities like Jail, Water Works, and the Electric Company. There’s also a small Monopoly Cafe where you could treat yourself using the banknotes you collect previously. Please not forget to visit the gift shop to buy those cute souvenir. The weather hasn’t been steady and parents looking for options on indoor activity. So, the question is whether the Monopoly Dream at the Peak is worth going? I checked my previous post and realise I’ve missed this ! Here I am sharing my experience from 2019 😂 It was before the pandemic, hence we are not wearing any mask. Anyway, I decided to take my elder one, K for this activity because it’s age appropriate (she was 4years old then) and personally think D was too young (2.5yo). We went with a couple of friends, the 3 kids were around the same age. We took the oldest tram in Hong Kong from central to the peak. K was super excited, enjoying the view of Victoria Harbour as much as I do. Before heading to level 3 where monopoly dreams located, we spent some photo time at the platform. Kids age 4 and above should be able to enjoy all of the activities, K love the 4D theatre most and she’s happy we got property card with our name on it.
