Follow it, and I guarantee you'll have a fun and unforgettable time! 🌆 Day 1: After arriving in Kota Kinabalu, immerse yourself in the local culture by visiting the Gaya Street Night Market. Don't miss the chance to try the unique East Malaysian fruit, Tarap. It's a taste sensation! After the night market, check into Monocolo Boutique Hotel and get a good night's rest for the adventures ahead. 🍜 Day 2: Start your day with a visit to Wei Wei Xiang Fish Head Noodles, a local hidden gem. The delicious fish soup paired with smooth rice noodles is irresistible. Then, head to Kundasang, and don't forget to stop by Sinalau Bakas Kampung Bongol for some wild boar meat. Once you arrive, visit Desa Dairy Farm, known as "Little Switzerland of Malaysia," for its picturesque scenery. Enjoy a meal at Anooh Cafe while taking in the expansive mountain views. The hotel is located in the city center, which is very convenient. It only takes 15 minutes by car to reach the pier hotel and 10 minutes to Gaya Street. Thw hotel's hygiene is very good, and disposable items are also provided. The front desk is very welcoming. There is also a cafe downstairs. Although the hotel is located a bit far from the city center, taking a Grab ride to downtown costs around 8 MYR (depending on demand) and takes approximately 10 minutes, making it relatively convenient! The cleanliness of the rooms is quite good, with no unpleasant odors. Overall, the accommodations are decent and comfortable. The bathroom provides a 2-in-1 shampoo and body wash product, so if you prefer using your own shampoo or conditioner, it’s recommended to bring them along. The soundproofing is acceptable; you won’t feel disturbed inside the room. However, you might hear some voices if people are talking in the hallway. The lobby is beautifully designed and features an attached café. The hotel even provides discount vouchers for the café upon check-in, which is a thoughtful touch. Additionally, free beverages are offered in the lobby daily, adding a nice gesture of hospitality! Moreover, according to a Grab driver, there’s a famous restaurant right across from the hotel (likely Kuo Man Restaurant). Unfortunately, we only learned about it the day before leaving, so we didn’t get a chance to try it.

A spacious big bed, a fashionable sofa for two people, an ultra-clear Android smart TV, a small refrigerator, and a work area full of design, even the door card is full of electronic feeling.
