Give This Cafe A Try
#singaporetrip
Visiting Katong on a Sunday hoping to try a lot of cafes is a bit challenging as almost all popular cafes have long queues and crowded. After looking for a cafe that was not super busy, we chanced upon Monk's Brew Club. The exterior of the cafe is eye-catching due to the pink and green color accent decor of the outside seating area. We checked the menu and decided to go in and order. Upon entering, the cafe interior is industrial-inspired and very spacious. The cafe is very work-friendly as we saw people on their laptops while taking their coffees. We ordered and noticed the prices are steep which is typical of cafe food. But on a more positive note, the serving size was big and we were full in no time. The food we tried are fish and chips and arrabiata pasta, both are good. We also tried their coffee, the cafe con leche, it was pretty nice but I would have wanted more sweetness but that's just me, I love sweet coffee. The nearest public transport would be buses since the cafe is a bit far from mrt stations.
