For catholic individuals all over the world especially couples who are planning to get married soon, you might want to consider on your list the Monastery of Transfiguration located in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon, Philippines. I had a friend who got hitched here and it was such a perfect location for solemnity as it is so quiet due to this being in the middle of the forest, away from the hustle and bustle of the normal churches. This place is picturesque with wide lawn outside. The interior is also one of the best with glass walls and wooden chairs. I visited this monastery in the morning. Beautiful and good place with history, since 1096. Wonderful place to walk around and take a pics, be a little bit deep to history. I love the place like that. Recommend. Good interesting place, if you are interesteed in orthodoxy and history, you will like it. Don't forget about the scarf and skirt!
