We took a #tour bus #travelwithoutapersonalcar from Mochit 2 at 07.30 to Sangkhlaburi directly. There is only one bus per day from the bus station to Sangkhla, but there are also other companies but the price is more expensive. We arrived in Sangkhla at 14.30 and checked in to our accommodation. We stayed at a simple homestay. After packing up, we rented a motorbike for 200 baht per day for convenience. We planned to ride to the Three Pagodas Pass. In the evening, from 16.00-21.00, there will be a walking street with a lot of food, but the most popular is Burmese pork fondue. But judging from all the hands being fondue, we were afraid of getting diarrhea, so we decided to eat a la carte instead. In the morning, we woke up to give alms to the monks at the Mon Bridge at 07.00-07.30, but there will also be monks from the outside walking around. There are many alms-giving sets for sale here. If you have Mon clothes, it will be 100 baht. We think the alms offering set here is good. There are 2 dishes, water, and flowers (I went to Chiang Khan and the alms offering set cost 100 baht, but the snacks for the kids were 5-10 baht). There were many things that were beyond expectations. Today, I will share a small experience that seems quiet, but it is not quiet. From Samut Prakan to Sangkhlaburi, it is the first time that I traveled. I planned to take it easy and take it slow because I thought that during the New Year, there would be only people traveling to the North. So there were not many things to prepare. But I did not forget to take the car to the service center to be confident because the road is up and down the hill, steep, and winding. And one thing that I had to stop for was to fill up the gas tank because the 60-70 km uphill route did not have any gas stations to stop by. And then we just kept on going. ♥️When I arrived at my destination, wow, everyone, it was so beautiful. The atmosphere was very good because I arrived in the evening. And I had the chance to take a picture of the bridge before the sun set. The color of the sky gradually changed. Take a look at my pictures. I took them with my phone, some of them might not be clear, but they really moved me. During the New Year, there were a lot of people and there was a temple fair and a light show because there were fireworks on the bridge at midnight, which was very beautiful.
