We took the green train to Mohe. We had already changed into warm clothes on the train, but as soon as we stepped out of the train, we could feel the biting cold wind and the fog outside. We wanted to take a picture of the green train as a souvenir, but our hands were as cold as a knife, so we left quickly.
After leaving the station, we contacted the driver, and he came to us soon. He told us that the temperature today was minus 43, the lowest temperature recently, and he was afraid that our clothes were not warm enough. Because we couldn't book a train for the return trip and had to use a plane, he asked us to check in at the station and the surrounding check-in points as much as possible, and also took a lot of photos for us.
Afterwards, he took us to start the itinerary, from the birch forest, Nvjiao Bay, the northernmost point of China to the first bay of Longjiang River, and then stayed at the Majie Farmhouse in Beihong Village for one night.
The next morning, we went to experience the water splashing into ice. After the master's guidance, we all successfully got satisfactory photos. Then we experienced the horse-drawn sleigh, which pulled us to Beihong Riverside Park, where the scenery was nice. Then, we went to the Arctic Village, where we checked in at the northernmost one, the Golden Rooster Crown, the 138 Boundary Monument, the North Pole, the Shenzhou Arctic Square and the Reindeer Tribe, and also went to the northernmost post office, and then checked in at the Beiyue Hotel. The master said that the lights would be turned on at night, and then he would take us to the Seven Star Square.
Early in the morning, we left for Mohe. We first checked in at the North Star Square, and then went to Songyuan Park. We bought wild dried blueberries and pine nuts in Mohe. After that, the master sent us to the airport.
Beihong Village and Beiji Village are really cold. After being outside for a while, my eyelashes and eyebrows will freeze. For us who grew up in a tropical country all year round, it is indeed an unforgettable experience.
