🛖 Weekend oxygen retreat from Shanghai to Moganshan by car. Chose a relatively new homestay located on the mountainside with unobstructed cliff views ➕ infinity pool 🚗 Before departure, I couldn't find comprehensive guides and was a bit worried about the check-in experience. After arriving, I didn't want to leave! The views were incredible 🌳, perfect for relaxing. Sharing my experience for your reference 🌲 Endless mountain wilderness ⛰️ Charming bamboo trails full of natural beauty 🏞️ Cliff-view infinity pool overlooking Naked Heart Castle 🏝️ Secluded atmosphere rivaling Ubud, Bali 😃 Stayed at a lifetime-memorable hotel in Deqing Moganshan 1️⃣ Check-in: Booked a cliff-view twin room a week in advance and arrived Saturday afternoon. The homestay is a renovated old villa with a semi-luxury style. The public areas and soft furnishings show a lot of ❤️ thought, p9 2️⃣ Room: Very spacious at 40 square meters. Got a top-floor cliff-view room ⛰️ with huge corner floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking continuous mountain ranges & Naked Heart Castle 🏰, surrounded by greenery! 🌲 Honestly, I didn't want to leave once I entered the room, p10 Thoughtful room setup with a scenic bathtub ➕ minibar capsule coffee machine ➕ Viridis amenities. Also, their hair dryer works great - I bought the same model after returning 🤣, p11 3️⃣ Views: Besides in-room views, there are two exceptional public viewing spaces. ① The infinity pool 🏊🏻‍♀️ with maximum natural vibes, especially in the evening with forest 🌲, sky 🕊️, sunset ⛅, and distant Naked Heart Castle 🏰 - super chill. Another ① spot is the rooftop bar 🍸 with panoramic mountain views 4️⃣ Dining: Buffet breakfast 🍞☕🍜🍠, p12. Also received complimentary afternoon tea 🍰🍵 at the rooftop bar with excellent views. I really admire the homestay owner for turning the best views into public spaces! p13 🍱 For dinner, we went to the popular Jinyu Mama restaurant on Yinshan Street.
