[2025 Honolulu Stay] Travel Guide for Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort & Spa, Waikiki Beach (Updated May)

The hotel is very luxurious and the staff are very friendly. We were here for our honeymoon, and they made everyone feel safe. There are many rooms and they are very quiet. The view from our room was amazing. The room was very clean, and surprisingly, there was a balcony facing the city and another balcony facing the ocean, but it was still very quiet. For the number of rooms, the pool seemed a bit small, but it wasn't an issue during our stay. The transportation to the beach was great and very clean. We could use the cabanas and get food from the hotel, which was fantastic. The hotel's location is excellent, close to shopping centers, restaurants, Diamond Head, and the zoo. I would definitely recommend staying here and would be happy to return.

Price per Person - $69-135 USD PP Rating - IMO definitely a 5 out of 5 moment. * It was fantastic having the option of different dietary options without having to ask them to change the normal menu. I personally had the vegetarian option in our group which was delicious. It is all very filling, you will not leave hungry. When I woke up in the morning, the ocean spread out before me. I was mesmerized by the view for a while, watching people enjoying surfing from early in the morning. It was a great feeling to have such a view unfold before my eyes. The hotel I stayed at had a beautiful exterior and interior, and was truly an ideal space. It was also great that I could go straight to the beach from the hotel, so I enjoyed the luxury of being able to go to the beach whenever I felt like it. The only thing that bothered me was the price of dinner. It was surprisingly high, partly due to the weak yen. Still, it was understandable considering the good location and the overall atmosphere of the hotel. The hotel I stayed at this time was luxurious and comfortable, and the word "best" was the perfect fit. I definitely want to visit again!

I had a hunch, so I went to the cafe area outside🎵 This area is used for breakfast, so you can use it if you avoid the busy times of morning and lunch🎵 I bought a drink at the poolside cafe inside the Moana Surfrider and relaxed in an empty seat🎵📝 We stopped by around 4pm📍 Moana Surfrider Westin Resort and Spa Address: 2365 Kalakaua Ave, Honolulu, HI 96815 Cost: Drinks at the poolside cafe start at about 700 yen per glass, which was a good deal in the Waikiki area! It's my second time in Hawaii after 4 years⛱ ⁡ To Moana Surfrider, known as the Lady of Waikiki. ⁡ The room was an oceanfront suite. ⁡ It was great to have a lazy stay, where we alternated between swimming on the beach in front of us and relaxing in our room🥰 Moana has many places to relax other than the rooms, and the rocking chairs at the entrance to the hotel are so popular that a game of musical chairs is played😂 ⁡ I thought it would be impossible to take a moment when no one was there! But then a miracle happened and I was able to take a picture📸 ⁡ I recommend this place because there is a pleasant breeze blowing all the time and it is in the shade💕 ⁡ The stairs in the lobby are also very stylish, so if you stay here, I recommend you try climbing them! And we were also looking forward to afternoon tea at the Veranda🫖 ⁡ We ordered the most affordable Moana Classic Tea. It's affordable but quite filling, so I recommend it!
