[MMoP] in Miyota-machi, Nagano Prefecture This is a facility where art is displayed outdoors and shops, cafes, and restaurants are gathered. It's a hidden gem, so when I went there, there were no people there and I was able to relax🙆♀️ There are also many plazas and benches where you can see Mt. Asama, so it's recommended to have a cafe time outside👌🏻 There is also an art museum, so it's a must-see for art museum lovers! To get there, transfer to the Shinano Railway from Karuizawa Station and get off at Miyota Station. It's a 10-minute walk from the station, so a rental car is convenient, but you can also take the train and walk! This time of year in summer is the best. It's an open art space in a location overlooking Mt. Asama. The outdoor installations were especially beautiful. It's not a very large space, so you don't get too tired from looking at too much, which is nice! Karuizawa gets very crowded during the summer high season, so it's a good idea to visit nearby Miyota. They hold various events and projects from time to time, so I recommend checking their website before you go!
