The ultimate guide to conquering Kanto! 3 days and 2 nights in Tokyo
The travel guide for Japan's Kansai region was well received by everyone! Taking advantage of the summer vacation, I'm sharing a 3-day, 2-night itinerary for Tokyo! Let's start!
First, let me talk about the hotel I chose🏨: Mitsui Garden Hotel Ginza in Tokyo
Hotels in Japan generally cost a bit more💰, and from this hotel's lobby, you can see the Tokyo Tower🗼. The location is also super convenient It's incredibly easy to find food or buy cosmetics right outside the door💕
DAY1: Mount Fuji·Japan 🗻 Gotemba Premium Outlets Lake Kawaguchi
Japan's transportation🚈 is quite complex, the most convenient way to get to Mount Fuji from Tokyo is to take the express bus🚌 from across Shinjuku subway station! But during peak season, make sure to buy tickets in advance❗️Buy tickets in advance❗️When we went to buy tickets on the day, we found that all tickets🎫 to Mount Fuji🗻 for that day were sold out! We had no choice but to switch to subway🚇 mode! It really took half a day of subway transfers to get there
🎀Many people choose to go to the fifth station to see Mount Fuji❗️The fifth station is actually part of Mount Fuji, so it's impossible to see the whole mountain from there. We took a cable car🚡 at Lake Kawaguchi to the viewing platform, where we could see Mount Fuji🗻
In the evening🌃, you can choose to stay at a hot spring♨️ hotel near Lake Kawaguchi. Since we were going to Disney the next day, we decided to visit the outlets and then return to the city to stay🏨
Gotemba Premium Outlets close earlier than shopping malls in China, and there are many brands here, including Gucci, Valentino, YSL, Jimmy Choo, and more!
DAY2: Tokyo DisneySea 🎀
There are two Disney parks in Tokyo, DisneySea and Disneyland🌸. Before going, I did a detailed comparison and chose DisneySea because the attractions there are more thrilling and more suitable for adults👩! If you're bringing a baby👶, you might prefer Disneyland, which is more kid-friendly!
The way to Disney I chose was still the express bus🚌 from across Shinjuku subway station!
I suggest planning ahead, picking the attractions you want to experience! Prioritize them!
✨Personal recommended attractions: Journey to the Center of the Earth, Tower of Terror, Raging Spirits
DAY3: Ginza👠👜
When in Tokyo, you must reserve a day for Ginza, a world-class bustling shopping street🛍️! All the major brands have flagship stores here!
Department store recommendations: Daimaru, Takashimaya, Ginza Mitsukoshi, Ginza Six
The B1 floor of Ginza Mitsukoshi department store has a variety of high-end Japanese cosmetics brands💄, as well as international big-name cosmetics
Japan's large department stores generally close around 8⃣️ o'clock! It's advisable to shop at department stores first and then at cosmetics stores! Many cosmetics stores are open 2⃣️4⃣️ hours
