[2025 Pingyao Stay] Travel Guide for Miss.R (Pingyao Ancient City Store) (Updated Feb)

Hello~~ This is my first blog and I wanna share my incredible journey celebrating the Chinese New Year in the ancient city of Pingyao ❤️ First of all I have to say that I didn't pay for the temples, the must-visit attractions are the Confucian Temple and the God of the City Temple, they have a ticket for visiting all the attractions and an offer for transportation in little buses for 10 yuan per person, but I didn't have a lot of time and dressing up in traditional clothes was my preference. The ancient city is very beautiful, it has a lot of small streets to take photos and enjoy yourself, there are a lot of hanfu shops with different prices. I dress up in 美人季&香醋老店 for 198 yuan and take professional photos, they allow two dresses and 20 photos of which you select 10. I paid a 500yuan deposit fee to go out and take photos in the city of my own. 🏠 Accommodation 1.Miss.R (Pingyao Ancient City Store) I stayed in Miss R hotel and the owner allowed me to take a lot of photos there. It was an amazing experience and a very beautiful hotel, the room was warm and the owner knows English. He recommended the hanfu shop and give me discounts for two restaurants. ❗MUST KNOW!! The Ying Xun Gate closes at 20:00h and opens al 6:00h, it has a nocturnal spectacle at 21:00h with a lot of people gathering there. #hanfuexperience
