Must-see! Tongyeong, South Korea: An off-the-beaten-track experience
Hey everyone! Today, I'm sharing a super under-the-radar destination in South Korea—Tongyeong🎉! Few people visit here, but it's a beautiful fishing village with stunning blue waters. It's totally worth the trip🥰!
If you're looking to capture unique rock formations and azure islands, I highly recommend📍Mireuksan Mountain in Gyeongsangnam-do. Here's a detailed guide📝:
1. Hiking to the top takes about 1.5 hrs. If you're like me and prefer a more relaxed approach, you can take the cable car🚠, which is the longest (1,975m) in South Korea. The cable car ride offers stunning views of lush green forests🌲 and a winding racetrack🏁!
2. After reaching the observation deck by cable car, there's a transparent glass platform where you can truly feel the height below—super thrilling! However, those afraid of heights should proceed with caution⚠️.
3. You absolutely must climb to the summit‼️ It's a fun 20-min hike with lots of scenic spots along the way, perfect for taking photos📷. Plus, the views change at different altitudes, and you'll be amazed~
4. After taking the cable car down, you can also try mini car racing. One lap takes 20 mins, and Koreans usually do 3 laps, which is about an hour. We didn't try it because we thought it was too long and the sun was too strong. But we heard it's super exciting, with opportunities for overtaking on curves. Don't miss out if you love thrills🤩.
