It was founded by Chang Yang Fa, who is a toy enthusiast and collector. This museum houses his personal collection of vintage toys and childhood memorabilia, which is pretty extensive! Tickets are sold for $30 per entry with kids under seven years having free admission. This can include guided tours to bring guests through the exhibits. It can take about two hours to walk through all four storeys worth of artefacts, an educational way to spend the afternoon! At one of Asia's largest exhibitions dedicated to vintage toys and collectables, you can embark on a nostalgic journey through an extensive collection of world-class vintage toys and collectibles. From games and wind-up toys to collectors' items and memorabilia from popular media franchises, this exhibition has it all. With over 50,000 items from over 40 countries, ranging from the 1840s to the 1980s, highlights include the complete Batman robot toy, the Mekon Mask from Dan Dare, and the first mass-manufactured robot. The exhibition will run from Sep 19 Sep to Nov 16.

Singapore may be a small country but there are still many interesting places to visit. MINT Museum of toys is one of them. MINT Museum of toys is located in Seah Street can and is within walking distance from City Hall MRT, Bugis MRT, Brash Brasah MRT and Esplanade MRT. We spent quite some time there as there are so many toys to look at. It is really interesting to see the toys the world has over the years. There are four levels in this museum and have more than 8500 toys from over 40 countries in the world. Is is certainly an eye opener. Today's itinerary took me back to my childhood. First, I visited the MINT Museum of Toys, where every exhibit seemed to transport me through a time tunnel. This museum showcases precious toys from around the world, from the early 20th century to the present. Whether it's traditional wooden toys or colorful mechanical dolls, every detail is filled with stories. I was particularly fond of the old iron trains and early dolls. Each exhibit has its own unique history and value, and with their company, I felt the innocence and joy of childhood once again. During the tour, I couldn't help but think of the toys I treasured as a child. They witnessed the passage of time and accompanied me as I grew up.

#singaporetrip I walked past the museum while walking towards Raffles City, and it piqued my interest. They have a quirky collection of rare toys that will fill you with a sense of nostalgia! I loved that each floor had a dedicated them for the characters/toys on display and got a history lesson about their origins. If you have some time and want to see something unique, I would definitely recommend visting. They’ve got a cafe on the rooftop and a bar in the basement if you’re looking for a drink or a bite to eat! PS: You’ll save $5 if you purchase the ticket online vs at the museum
