Minjiang Park is located on the south and north banks of the Minjiang River in Fuzhou City, Fujian Province. It is the largest leisure park in Fuzhou. Minjiang Park is divided into North Park and South Park, which are bounded by the river and echo each other from afar. Among them, the North Park and South Park were completed and put into use on May 1, 2000 and May 1, 2002, respectively. The North Park is 5.5 kilometers long and covers an area of 44.24 hectares. It consists of 9 scenic spots, from west to east: Xihe Garden, Jinjiang Garden, Jinsha Garden, Wanglong Garden, Colorful Garden, Bridge Garden, Hualong Garden, Minfeng Garden and Minshui Garden. The South Garden is located on the south bank of the Minjiang River, with a total length of 2,850 meters and an area of 27.4 hectares. There are many native forests in the South Garden, and there are relatively few traces of artificial carving. It consists of a main entrance square and 8 scenic spots: Lotus Pond Moonlight, Riverside Leisure, Dreamland, Childlike World, Shili Flower Trail, Huaxiang Square, Hongtang Ancient Ferry, and Sunshine Coconut Wind.
