I've been to Qiandao Lake 7 times, each time full of surprises~ This Christmas we're back again, having pre-booked the super popular 🔥 Christmas dinner at Minghao International Hotel for a unique holiday.
The atmosphere of this Christmas dinner was amazing 🤩, from Santa Claus, cello performances in front of the snow house to greet guests, to the ubiquitous Christmas 🧑🎄 decorations and band performances 🎶, every detail exuded warmth and joy, and my teammate even won a prize, super lucky haha 🎉
The food can be said to be a real experience of the best 👍 sashimi, Roche shrimp, abalone, snow crab legs, pipa shrimp... steaming hot pot for the holiday atmosphere 🆙 There's also Buddha jumps over the wall, garlic oysters, Christmas turkey... too many styles, can't eat it all 🤣 Mountain mango, strawberry, pineapple, jackfruit in rotation, and the kids' ❤️ delicate desserts, the rumored five-star ⭐️ taste feast is indeed well-deserved, in short, the highest realm of buffet - I managed to leave leaning on the wall.
🏨 About room service:
We booked a lake view deluxe twin room, with a super large size double bed + small bed, Golden Child neck protection mattress, children's washstand, large bathtub, Bulgari toiletries, AIRFLY caviar hair dryer (which I was heavily influenced by), all high-end route, mainly a 'super five-star' configuration.
Private terrace can 👀 first-line lake view + beautiful sunset, teammate exclaimed this is the correct way to check in Qiandao Lake.
🍽️ About eating:
The standard buffet breakfast 🈶 has over 200 dishes, the taste is online, especially the vermicelli soup and local specialties 👍🏻, there is also a children's area, super thoughtful.
We also found a very wide and beautiful terrace on the seventh floor executive lounge, there is a parent-child afternoon tea 🍮 in the afternoon, and on a good evening you can have a barbecue and a drink, simply delicious.

Thousand Island Lake is an artificial lake, and it's hard to imagine without doing your homework.
This is an artificial lake formed by the damming of the upper reaches of the Xin'an River Hydropower Station. It is precisely because of this project that the unique landscape of Thousand Island Lake was created. Thousands of islands are scattered across the vast lake, each with its own unique shape, some small and exquisite, others majestic and magnificent.
Thousand Island Lake Scenic Area, known as the "Back Garden of the Yangtze River Delta", is located in Chun'an County, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. The scenery is natural and the lake water is clear. It is close to Yangtze River Delta cities such as Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Nanjing, making it a popular choice for weekend getaways.
There are many strategies for taking a boat to the island on the platform, but for me, any of them seem to make my weekend itinerary too rushed. I don't want to be too tired, I just want to find a quiet place to stay for a while. Cycling around the island was the only exercise I got in these two days, and the electric scooter was very powerful in the process. Although buses pass by from time to'an time, it's hard to control the time. In comparison, I still feel that the electric scooter is more free. However, I must remind everyone that you must take sun protection measures when riding an electric scooter!
As for accommodation, I did a lot of research beforehand. Personally, I prefer newer hotels, and the location is best near the center of the lake. In the end, I chose Minghao Hotel. Actually, the Hilton Hotel is also very good, but it's just a little older. If you are traveling with children, Minghao Hotel has a very large children's play area on the first floor, and the water park is also quite large. However, the weather was too hot, and I didn't see anyone playing there during the day.
The sunset at Thousand Island Lake is breathtaking. My room window faces the lake and the west, so I can see the sunset slowly sink into the lake. It's a completely different feeling from watching the sunset on a mountain or by the sea, like a beautiful landscape painting. I would like to remind everyone that when choosing a room type, be aware that the basic room type does not have a lake view.

The hotel buffet is delicious and there are many options. The homemade yogurt is good. They also have baby plates and spoons.
We watched a water curtain show at night, but it was too hot so we went back to the lobby.
There is a playground on the basement level of the hotel. It's similar to a shopping mall, with a ball pit, trampoline, sand pit, supermarket simulation, princess dress-up, and toy cars. My 23-month-old baby loves the sand pit. They can play in the sand pit for a long time. You can enter multiple times. There is a go-kart arcade across the street, but it costs extra.
When we checked out, the front desk gave us a gift (a bath set). Remember to bring a swimming cap if you want to swim.
There is a Chunyuan restaurant outside the hotel. We ordered a set meal, which was good. The rice noodles were the best, and the fish head was average. The service was good.

👉🏻 May Day is coming soon, I will share with you the Thousand Island Lake strategy for last weekend. This lazy person can't get up early and doesn't like to rush, so this strategy is suitable for those who like leisurely slow travel.
🚗Transportation: It's faster to come from Shanghai by high-speed rail, but it takes about 30 minutes to take a taxi from the high-speed rail to the central island area, and the price is about 60 yuan. There are also several hotel bus routes to choose from; if you can, it's definitely the most convenient to drive by yourself.
