Mingtang Mountain is located in the hinterland of the Dabie Mountains in southwestern Anhui, within the territory of Yuexi County, Anhui Province, 42 kilometers away from the county seat. Mingtang Mountain is part of the Dabie Mountain system. It rises abruptly from the winding branches of the Duozhijian Mountain Range, forming three peaks. The main peak has an elevation of 1563 meters and was historically a connecting point between the ancient states of Wu and Chu. According to legend, more than 2100 years ago, Emperor Wu of Han, Liu Che, named the mountain 'Mingtang' after setting up an altar for worship during his enshrinement of the ancient Nanyue, Mount Tianzhu. The locals, admiring the graceful and slender shape of Mingtang Mountain, which complements the majestic and upright Mount Tianzhu, and considering both mountains are located in Anhui and only a hundred li apart, coined the saying 'two mountains grow side by side, paired as a couple.' Therefore, Mount Tianzhu is also playfully referred to as 'Father Anhui Mountain,' and Mingtang Mountain as 'Mother Anhui Mountain.' Additionally, because there is a natural pattern of a rooster on the stone wall of the main peak of Mingtang Mountain, and from the north, the peaks resemble a rooster's comb, it is also known as 'Jigong Mountain.'

I swear this is the most interesting mountain I have ever climbed. ⛰ Last week, I took my little one and grandma to climb a mountain. I heard that this mountain is very friendly to the elderly and children, and it is very interesting. The self-drive scenery along the way was beautiful. It had rained the day before, and the fog was heavy. As we ascended, there was a feeling of walking in the clouds. You need to climb for about 10 minutes to reach the cable car 🚡, then switch to the magic carpet, which takes you directly to the 1400m high-altitude sightseeing area. You can visit attractions such as the thrilling steps, high-altitude glass bridge, high-altitude glass walkway, Green Pine Ridge, Moon Rock, high-altitude swing, etc. ⭕️ Going down the mountain ⛰ Glass dry slide - Cable car 🚡 - Rafting - Scenic shuttle You can play while descending the mountain. The dry slide is really fun. The scenic area provides pants, shoe covers, and gloves. Once geared up, you can slide down the mountain through the glass passage, just like a slide. It's really fun, and the little one was so excited, wanting to do it again. Rafting replaces the 10-minute walk down the mountain after coming down by cable car 🚡. The rafting takes about 3 minutes and takes you directly to the scenic shuttle. It's really suitable for bringing kids; I thought the little one would be scared, but she said it was so much fun after coming down. ✅ The whole trip took about more than 5 hours. This trip gave me a new understanding of my little one and my mother. Before coming, I was mentally prepared that they might be too scared to walk on the glass walkway, suspension bridge, etc... It turns out I was really overthinking it! ❗️ They were much braver than me. My mother even dared to take the high-altitude cableway, and the little one could even run on the glass walkway. The little one walked the whole way by herself, without crying or fussing, and was in a very good mood. She asked questions and learned along the way, excited from start to finish. Compared to the Yellow Mountain, I prefer this less crowded and beautiful niche spot!!! This is probably the easiest mountain I have climbed in decades! Following in the footsteps of the poet Li Bai, we explored the underrated paradise - Mount Muwan, and today we finally got a full glimpse of it. At the foot of the mountain, towering boulders rise into the clouds, and ancient pine trees of various shapes display the exquisite natural scenery, which is refreshing and makes one feel as if they are in a poetic painting. Navigation guided us to the Mingtang Mountain Scenic Area, located in Yuexi County, Anqing City, Anhui Province. It is open daily from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, with the latest admission time at 3:00 pm. Here's the travel guide: I heard that the day I went was the first clear day of the year, allowing for a view of the distant mountains and nearby scenery, so I chose the hiking route up the mountain. I arrived at the entrance of the scenic area at about 10:30 am, took a shuttle bus, walked for 10 minutes to the mountain entrance, and then took a cable car for about 5 minutes. The entire hiking process took approximately 4.5 hours to reach the main peak's high-altitude play area. It only took 40 minutes to return down the mountain. Although it took a long time to climb up, I leisurely enjoyed the beautiful natural scenery along the way, taking photos and walking at my own pace, leisurely and forgetful of the time to return. Cloud Flying| Always go climbing in the fall. I made a self-driving appointment with my friends to go climbing. After searching for several places, I finally chose Mingtang Mountain. It took about two and a half hours to drive from Wuhan. Although it was said to be climbing, as a modern person (lazy) me and my friends hardly climbed the mountain. The whole journey was very easy! It's more suitable for the whole family of the elderly and children to play! After arriving at the entrance of the scenic spot, there is a scenic traffic car to pick up and drop off. Then we take the cable car to the magic carpet area. The magic carpet takes us through the narrow forest. Then it's the forest plank road. It's very smooth!! Without much effort, we reached the high-altitude tour area of more than 1400 meters above sea level!
