Mikazuki Waterpark is part of the Mikazuki Resort & Spa in Da Nang. Even if you do not stay at the resort, you can still buy the waterpark ticket to enjoy the facilities here. Interesting to know that Mikazuki Water Park 365 is the first indoor hot water park in Vietnam. #wheretogo Our hotel Da Nang Mikazuki actually has the biggest indoor water theme park in Vietnam, which makes it very exciting because you can definitely play 365 days a year without worrying about the weather. It has the longest indoor slide which goes up to almost four stories high, but that means carrying your raft four stories up lol. The slide comes in the form a dragon and inside there is a rainbow tunnel, I have never seen something like that. It is not powered but just light rays passing through the slide. It also has another lazy river on top of the outdoor one, my favourite has got to be the rubber duck floating in the wave pool, it's so cute!

#wheretogo An actual onsen at our hotel was the MAIN reason why we chose Da Nang Mikazuki because living in Singapore, we do not have an onsen theme park. There are both public area and private area. For the pubic area, you can enter with swim wear and it is mix gender. They made the place so zen like you even have Japanese bridges for that perfect picture. You can even pay to rent a kimono or dine in at their cafe (dry clothes only area). In the private area, like all Japanese onsen, you will need to shower before heading in. Just like Japan, there are locker rooms, showering area, and a dressing area for you to freshen up and dry your hair. The onsen in the hotel are added with minerals, it was so relaxing, to finally get a soak, we slept so well.

#wheretogo Our hotel at Da Nang Mikazuki resort have a crazy huge outdoor water theme park that includes a ship play area suitable for kids and big kids. I love how colourful and huge it is and how they allowed adults to have a try on the water slides. This really made me super happy because there are hotels that don’t allow adults on the slides even though I rather small size adults. The outdoor area is also where their “Mt Fuji” is which had a cascading pool overlooking the hotel. And all around the area is this Mt Fuji lazy river which was long, I think we took 10-15 mins to finish it.

Danang can be cold at times... During the 4 nights and 6 days I went there in a hurry, I only saw the sun on the 5th day, the day I returned home. It wasn't the rainy season, but it was so windy and chilly that I went to Han Market to buy long-sleeved clothes, and it rained occasionally, so swimming outside at the hotel was out of the question... (Of course, it was a pretty long distance that I would have taken a Grab if I had taken a Grab... It was such a nice day to slowly walk around and see the nooks and crannies of the alleys that I would have missed.) Mikazuki Resort, and Mikazuki Water Park & ​​Hot Springs, where I thought, 'Why go all the way to Danang to go here?' I felt bad about not being able to go into the water even once in Vietnam, so I wanted to go swimming once and come back, so I went on the 4th day. 1st floor water park: It was cold even though it was an indoor water park. The water was too lukewarm... So I went to the 4th floor right after taking a dip in the lazy river. 4th floor hot spring: The water was so warm and so nice. I finally felt like I was in Vietnam and going into the water. Since it was an open-air bath, I don't think I would be able to go in when it's hot. Anyway, the weather was cold that day, so I thought it was similar to going to an open-air bath in Japan in the winter. Although the water temperature wasn't as high as in Japan, and it couldn't match the natural hot spring water in Japan... The weather was so unusually chilly that the owner of the Korean restaurant said it was the first time he had ever worn such thick clothes, but I was able to stay in the water for a long time in the afternoon, so I was so satisfied...
