Dinner at Midori no Kaze in Kitayuzawa was child-friendly, and the children's section was full of fun. The large amount of octopus sausages was fun for adults too. There were many places where you could see the kitchen, there were many live performances, and they even went around to the tables to serve you sausages, so it was an exciting dinner. Everything was delicious, and there were many dishes that would go well with alcohol. This onsen resort is just amazing, they have lots of outdoor onsen to let you choose from! Of you live outdoor onsen, this resort is the best! They provide to free pick up from Sapporo station and drop off shuttle bus, that’s really convenient! We are surprise with the quality of the service, the outdoor & indoor onsens, the room, the dinner as well as the breakfast! Food were served with wide variety and good food quality, everything are above expectations! The snow scenery made our visit more special and unforgettable! When eating breakfast, go early and choose this seat! ✨ Dinner and breakfast were mostly Japanese home-cooked meals, and the onsoba, fried food, and self-service kaisendon were really fresh and delicious. I highly recommend you try these three! 🍜🍤🐟 You should also try the freshly made crepes and parfaits, and since Hokkaido is famous for its milk, you should definitely try the ice cream! 🍦 - Noboribetsu Midorinokaze Kitayuzawa Resort in Hokkaido was a clean and stylish ryokan that had nothing lacking or disappointing. Midorinokaze Resort Kitayuzawa Review The hotel is located in the middle of a valley. The atmosphere is very nice, especially the outdoor onsen with a view of the snow. Buffet for both dinner and breakfast. There are many dishes. There are both Japanese and international menus. Desserts are worth the price. There is a car park (free of charge). Overall, I am very impressed. The atmosphere is good. The food is good. The onsen is the best! If I have a chance, I will definitely go back to stay again.

The large hot springs, various types of baths, and even the buffet for breakfast and dinner were perfect :) Especially if you go in the snowy winter, you can see the snowy fields that everyone dreams of right in front of the ryokan! We went to Midori no Kaze with our family. It was our first time staying at this inn, so we were all really looking forward to it. First, let me introduce the rooms. I always stay in a Japanese-Western style room because it's convenient, so this time we booked one as well. There are two single beds, and we were able to enjoy a relaxing snack time in the Japanese-style room. The hotel has a Japanese theme overall, and the rooms are not cluttered and have a calm atmosphere, so we were able to relax and unwind. For me, this onsen resort is one of the best because the outdoor Onsen is made up of rocks, is big, spacious and beautiful. It makes you feel like you’re amidst the mountains and the water is crystal clear and seeing the snow falling to cover up the whole place! Dinner buffet had a huge variety and taste was amazing too! We loved the roast beef which was done perfectly! Breakfast serve at the same restaurant too, with plenty of food to choose from! This hotel is in the middle of nowhere and you feel like you are staying between mountains. The resort is serene and beautiful. I really enjoyed the natural feeling yet luxurious experience you can find it here! #resortstyle
