#Middle Eight Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jun)
Middle Eight Hotel - Covent Garden
#thingstodo
Mini break in London to see a show and needed a hotel within walking distance of theatre. After some research we settled on this.
First impression upon walking into the Lobby - simple and yet effective luxury. Xmas tree made of bubbles I think, a few chairs which we were ushered to and the check in process started, with a glass of bubbly I might add.
Friendly staff.
Up to the room, elevator is clean and so are the hallways. Didn't expect any less.
Bedroom - very good size, beautiful furnishings, love that there is a sofa & little table as well as bed in the room - and yet doesn't feel crowded.
All very clean.
Bathroom the same - shower and sink and toilet, spotless.
Cannot fault the room or the rate at this point.
My only gripe - and this might not be something that can be helped - is that after the show when we got back to sleep you could hear the noise from outside (sounded like some sort of club or event nearby).
Perhaps thicker windows maybe?
To be fair it was not that much - and I did manage to sleep very well as the bed was awesome. But just had to mention it.
Stayed in this beautiful hotel for 2 nights to celebrate my mothers 70th birthday. From the minute we arrived it was so special. Prosecco on arrival. No standing at counters to check in all done from the comfort of the gorgeous lobby with the sweetest receptionist. We were then brought to our room which was modern, fresh and unbelievably comfortable. We spent a few hours on both days in the main bar area. Amazing service and fabulous atmosphere. This hotel is perfect and we can’t wait to stay again. One of the best experiences ever.
