Seasonal Surprises and Classic Delights: Royale Restaurant’s Dinner Buffet
#favouriteitinerary Whenever we're craving a hassle-free yet indulgent feast, the Royale Restaurant at Mercure Hotel Bugis is our go-to for a memorable dining experience. It's the perfect spot when we want something both convenient and full of variety, especially since their menu changes seasonally, offering something fresh and exciting with each visit. The buffet spread is always exceptional, and we love how the seasonal shifts bring new flavors and ingredients to explore.
We usually kick off the meal with a selection of crisp, vibrant greens and an exquisite array of gourmet cheeses, all complemented by a warm basket of freshly baked bread. From there, we move on to the hot dishes – the Tom Yum Goong is a constant favorite, with its vibrant, bold flavors and balanced spiciness. The comforting Herbal Bak Kut Teh never disappoints, with its aromatic richness, while the Batavia Beef Soup, with its savory depth, is always a satisfying choice.
The carving station is a true highlight, and thanks to the seasonal updates, there's always something exciting to look forward to. We relish the Five Spice Roasted Pork Belly and the Herb-Crusted Australian Beef Ribeye Roll, but the seasonal offerings, like the Coriander Roasted Leg of Lamb, elevate the experience, bursting with tender, flavorful goodness.
When it comes to dessert, we're never left disappointed. The chocolate fountain is a delectable classic, and the variety of ice cream options always hits the spot. The exclusive shaved ice counter, available during dinner, adds a refreshing touch that’s perfect for winding down the meal. With seasonal changes that keep the buffet fresh and dynamic, every visit feels like a new adventure, making it the ideal place for a fulfilling and ever-evolving culinary experience.
After the feast, we love to unwind at their Garden Terrace on the same level. It’s a great spot to relax with a drink and enjoy the serene atmosphere, especially if we want to take our time and let the evening linger.
