🤩 Wanted to get out and clear my mind on the weekend, see a bit of the world But couldn't go too far So I went to Zengcheng with my husband and child~ Experiencing the everyday life and atmosphere of this city Feeling the local culture and customs in Menghuabu Village Staying at Xun Ta Hot Spring B&B in a beautiful family room It was truly delightful! 🍂 Menghuabu Village I have a friend who lives in Menghuabu Village So I took this opportunity to visit Zhongxin goose soup rice balls, Zhongxin roasted goose, and Zhongxin soy sauce goose are local Zengcheng specialties - the taste is absolutely amazing and unforgettable The dried vegetables and fish hung by villagers create a unique scenery, very down-to-earth We received warm hospitality from the locals 🤩 and I made friends with the aunties here A village where everyday life and human warmth coexist Seemingly simple and ordinary, yet full of joy 💒 Xun Ta Hot Spring B&B The environment is truly beautiful with a distinct foreign style We booked a luxury family suite that my daughter absolutely loved It's very spacious with complete furnishings There's one large bed and one small bed, plus a little tent My daughter didn't want to come out once she crawled into the tent And you can see gorgeous floor-to-ceiling window views - it's amazing Don't miss the night view! You can see fireworks Most importantly, there's a private hot spring Soaking in the hot spring relaxes your whole body - it's so comfortable The next day we had a sumptuous breakfast A very pleasant stay experience 🌠 In the future, I'd like to visit Zengcheng again for weekend relaxation It's a super suitable hidden gem for tourism Plus Zengcheng has many hidden scenic spots, delicious food, and B&Bs~ It's truly a worthwhile place to take kids Head to Zengcheng for your weekend trip 🫧 A two-day, one-night getaway will keep you happy for a long, long time 🥳

It is recommended to park your car at the parking lot in front of Zhengguo Temple for 5 yuan/hour. If you are taking public transportation, you can first take the subway to Zengcheng Square Station, then take the Zengcheng No. 17 bus to Zhengguo Station. 2⃣️Zhengguo Temple: Located just 100 meters from the old street, this temple was built in the Southern Song Dynasty and is still a popular place of worship. It is a great place to experience the religious atmosphere and historical culture. 3⃣️Baihujiang Forest Park: This is a gift from nature, with few people and picturesque scenery. The entrance fee is only 10 yuan. 4⃣️Monghua Village: A peaceful and beautiful village with a long natural beach, perfect for family outings. 5⃣️Shuimei Village + Lanxi Village: The crystal-clear river is a great place to catch fish and play in the water. There are also shaded areas by the river for camping. 6⃣️Dengshan Village Ancient Olive Garden: There are ancient olive trees over a thousand years old here, with various shapes, as if you are in a magical forest. It is a great place to bring your children to explore nature. - ⚠️ Travel Tips: ❶ From Guangzhou, all attractions can be easily reached via Zhengguo Old Street, and the journey time is within half an hour. ❷ It is recommended to visit the old street in the morning and enjoy the food, then choose other attractions to visit; or visit Baihujiang Forest Park or Dengshan Village Ancient Olive Garden in the morning, have lunch at the old street, and continue exploring other attractions in the afternoon. ❸ While traveling, please pay attention to environmental protection, do not litter, and respect the natural landscape. You can see small fish clearly in the crystal-clear water. 🏖️3 km of silver-white sand beach The sand is very fine and comfortable to walk on barefoot! Bring sand toys for your kids to build sandcastles and dig rivers. 🌿Forest greenway cycling The 3 km boardwalk along the Zeng River is perfect for cycling with your kids through the bamboo forest! This time, we parked for free at the end of the dam. 🚗Navigation: Menghuabu Village (1 hour drive from Guangzhou) 🍲Nearby food and recommendations Zhengguo Old Street and Zhengguo Temple, as well as the rapeseed flower field and Baijiang Lake Scenic Area. We came from the rapeseed flower field and Baijiang Lake in the morning, had lunch on Zhengguo Old Street, and then spent the whole afternoon here. ✅Zhengguo Wonton (thin skin and big filling, a must-try!) ✅Lanxi Lai Fun (intangible cultural heritage, very fresh) ✅Bamboo Rice (delicious firewood rice in the bamboo forest)

Take advantage of the rainy days during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday to bring your baby to play in the water and sand! The tide rises quickly on rainy days, so you need to find a high place to stay. Tips: Remember to bring a few more sets of clothes for your baby, a large towel, drinking water, snacks, mosquito repellent, an umbrella, and tissues. There is a public toilet 200 meters away from the shore. You can wash yourself before getting on the bus. The surrounding facilities are quite complete!
