The long queues are a waste of time. There are plenty of places on Gaya Street with no queues, and the food is just as good. You might be pleasantly surprised by the flavors at any random place you choose. Now, let's talk about water activities. You can try the water activities on the nearby islands, but I don't recommend snorkeling. It's crowded, and the water is quite murky, so you can't see much. If you really want to snorkel, go to Mantanani Island. Although it's a long boat ride, the scenery is worth it. The clear water and beautiful underwater views will make it all worthwhile. As for the City Mosque, I don't really recommend going inside. Once you're in, you're limited to a small area with no guides or explanations, so it's not very interesting. Began from Jesselton Point Jetty and we boarded boat for about 1 hour ride to the island. Upon arrival, we couldnt help but snap countless photos of the place. The white sandy beach, ocean and sky were too stunning. After gearing up, we went for 2 diving spots. We swam alongside schools of fish, watched as graceful sea turtles glided by, spotted a playful octopus, etc. Back to the island, we had our sumptuous buffet lunch to fill our tummies.
