The former site of the Wuchang Uprising military government commemorates important events in modern history, the Wuchang Uprising
Location: Wuchang Racecourse, Wuhan City (near Yellow Crane Tower to the west)
Introduction: The former site of the Revolutionary Military Government of 1911 was originally the Hubei Provincial Advisory Bureau in the late Qing Dynasty. It was planned to be built in 1908 and completed in 1910. There are 11 buildings in total. The main building of the building is a two-story brick-concrete Western-style building, facing south. A watchtower protruded from the middle of the upper roof, which became the commanding height of the Yuemachang axis at that time, with a broad and spectacular view. On October 10, 1911, the first shot of the Revolution of 1911 was fired in Wuchang. After the success of the Wuchang Uprising, the revolutionaries established a military government here, which for a time assumed the powers of the "Central Government of the Republic of China". Because the main building is a red building, it is also called the "Red Building". Every October 10th is the anniversary of the Revolution of 1911, and commemorative activities such as photo exhibitions and wreath-laying are usually held.
Tickets: Free
Opening hours: 9:00-17:00, admission is closed from 16:00, and closed on Mondays.
Thoughts: The Wuchang Uprising was a very important event in modern history. Because of this incident, China moved from autocracy to democracy. It is also the beginning of changing China. There are often many people here commemorating the Wuchang Uprising. It’s a great place for families and children.

Tanhualin Trip
Today's itinerary:
Tanhualin—Hubei University of Chinese Medicine Tanhualin Campus—Hubei Military Government—Trinity Church
1⃣️P1P2
Tanhualin is located inside the north city wall of Wuchang. It is a living modern history book of Wuhan, with 52 buildings with a history of nearly 100 years, witnessing the ups and downs of Wuhan and the cultural history since the opening of the port. It has now been transformed into a creative industry base.
I think the most charming thing is the sunset on the city wall built along the mountain, with blue bricks and red tiles, and flowers all over the wall. Tanhualin
2⃣️P3P4
Hubei University of Chinese Medicine Tanhualin Campus, the original site of Wenhua College founded in 1871, with red bricks and gray tiles, the ancient building is still towering. Hubei University of Chinese Medicine (Tanhualin Campus)
3⃣️P5 The Hubei Military Government was established in Wuchang, Hubei on October 11, 1911, marking the success of the Wuchang Uprising. The "mountain"-shaped building with red walls and red tiles is called the "Red Building" by the locals. Memorial Hall of the Wuchang Uprising of 1911 Revolution
4⃣️P6 Trinity Church, located at No. 365 Jiefang Road, Wuchang District, is easy to miss if you don't look carefully. Although it is more than 200 years old from the 19th century to the present.
The only church built by the American Episcopal Church in China in a Sino-Western style, its appearance is very different from that of a typical church. The main building is a double-eave octagonal pavilion, with the top decorated with Western-style round ball elements of a normal church, but the body is full of blue brick carvings, and the flying eaves have dragon heads.
Under the different styles of appearance, it also hides its bumpy fate. It was once a primary school and a dance hall, and now it has become a mixed shopping mall, so that many locals do not know that there is a 200-year-old church here. Zhou Daxia Longxia Gai Jiao Fan (Trinity Church)
