We have arrived luangprabang for a week and we found some interesting trip on the Mekong river, so, we decided to hired a boat for 2 hours and haft for our Mekong river trip. We started at 5pm at the pier near War Xiengthong( private baot), heading to north after the Mekong bridge, a bridge for railway, and then we returned back to old town, on the way back you can have a beautiful view of the sunset which you can take as March as nice photos along way down, at the same we have some drink which which we brought from restaurants before get into boat. We were very enjoyed our trip which make a billion experiences and a lot of fun. Thw the price of this boat trip is 50$ expensive drink or food, so we have 6 people, then we spend only 8$+ per person for 2 and half hours#staycation#boattrip#mekongriver #beachlife

Mekong River is the perfect plan to spend a lazy morning or afternoon in Luang Prabang. Eating with the most amazing view of the river is a must. There are many places along the river to choose. The setting is absolutely stunning in the morning, it is the best way to start a busy day with good pastries, fruit, coffee or juice. If you are early enough you can enjoy watching the sunrise over the Mekong. Speaking of food, it would take a long time to sample all the traditional dishes. #holidayseason We spent our first morning at Dada coffee shop for our our luang prabang trip. The coffee shop is in a convenient location, with a beautiful view of Mekong River, a really peaceful and relaxing environment. They have a large outdoor terrace and balcony where you can enjoy your coffee and looking at a charming of mekong river, you also can stay indoor if need air-conditioning. My highlights - sitting upper balcony and taking a Lao black coffee and hot flat white coffee - is really good taste, good price. We enjoyed the old temples and the natural environment in Luang Prabang, but the most unforgettable experience we have had in the old town, is the boat cruising in the beautiful Mekong River, which was organised by the Continental Cruise Luang Prabang. The food they served are amazing and delicious, the cruising is safe and enjoyable, we enjoyed very much the sunset cruise and sure we will come back again.

Engaging with locals, I discovered a genuine hospitality that added depth to my journey. From the vibrant night markets to the serene Mekong River, every moment was a snapshot of the city's multifaceted allure, leaving me with cherished memories of a truly wonderful visit.
