From Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum to Meiling Palace
Presidential Palace of the National Government of the Republic of China, Meiling Palace
Those who know history may feel sad when they visit Meiling Palace. On the one hand, Internet celebrities praise the family background and aesthetics of the palace, and the romantic love of the Republic of China. On the other hand, we cannot forget the history. The luxurious life built with the national treasury, military expenses, and even the military expenses for the War of Resistance Against Japan is worth lamenting and criticizing.
Meiling Palace can be compared to a small museum, which may be easier to accept than the Forbidden City. The main building is a three-story palace with a green glazed tile roof, and the eaves and drip tiles are carved with phoenixes. The interior is filled with historical photos, artworks, and cultural relics (clothing, calligraphy and paintings, porcelain, and jade), and the architectural layout is also very distinctive.
