I came to Yilan again this month! This trip was mainly to relax in Jiaoxi City, so we didn’t rent a car. This time we unlocked a new way: take a bus from Taipei City Government directly to Jiaoxi. Meihua Lake, located in De'an Village, Dongshan Township, Yilan County, Taiwan, is a natural lake surrounded by mountains on three sides. There is a 4-kilometer-long road around the lake, and if you don't feel like walking, you can rent a bicycle by the lake. Regardless of your choice, the mirror-like lake surface and the gentle breeze offer a unique charm. The Luodong Forestry Culture Park in Yilan was originally the Luodong Forestry Station for preserving timber, and it has now been transformed into an ecological park suitable for all ages.
