At Go-no-Ike on the north side of Akashi Park, you can enjoy nostalgic-style boats. This pond was created using a natural pond that existed since the castle was built. When you start rowing the boat, you quickly realize if someone is slacking off. The pedals are heavy, and for someone out of shape, it was a good 30-minute workout. When it comes to gourmet food you want to eat at Akashi Fish Market, seafood is the go-to choice. The 'Ma' Fish Market Poki Bowl (1,111 yen) is served with sesame oil flavored fish on top of white rice, and you eat it as is without adding anything. It actually looks more voluminous in person than in the photos, and the fresh and plump marinated fish bowl was truly delicious. If you want to eat tasty fish in Akashi, this is recommended. This is a non tourist spot city to explore ! I likes how it located near the JR station ! There is a big park to the castle ruins. Fee quiet pathway up to the castle as well as staircase. You will get a good view of the park from up there and you can see baseball arena nearby !
