Mayfield Lavender Farm is a beautiful destination located in the Surrey countryside, just outside of London. It’s famous for its vast fields of fragrant lavender, creating a stunning sea of purple during the summer months. So of course, the best months to visit here is from late June to early August, with July usually being the peak season. Mayfield Lavender farm is around 15-mile drive from Central London, and easily access by train to Banstead or Burley stations, then taking taxi/local bus to go there. The closest lavender farm to London is Mayfield Lavender Farm, just a 50-minute drive from the city center. If you prefer public transportation, it takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes to reach the farm. The official website provides four transportation options: 1. Take a train from London Victoria to West Croydon and then catch the 166 bus to Oaks Park Station (please note that this route can get quite busy during peak season). 2. Take a train from London Victoria to Sutton and then hop on the S1 bus to Banstead Woolpack Station. From there, take the 166 bus to the farm (this route is slightly faster). 3.
