Italy in Shanghai ✨
Da Ivo is a wonderful Italian Restaurant located on the 23rd floor of the Les Suites Orient Hotel. It’s glamorous and Italic decor, twinkling light fixtures, and paintings & mirrors on the ceiling reminded me heavily of my summer vacation in Italy. Needless to say, dressing up was a must!
Dinner was delightful! It included: 6-Hour Slow Simmered Chicken Consommé with Scampi Ravioli and Black Truffle Paste, Milanese Saffron Risotto with Black Tiger Prawn and Fresh Asparagus,
Linguine with Boston Lobster, Fresh Cherry Tomatoes, and Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and the Magic Mirror; A selection of 7 of Da Ivo’s special desserts.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant for beautiful ambience, a nice view of the Bund, good service, and delicious Italian cuisine.

| A Shining Pearl on the Riverbank. Hey guys, I stayed at the Oriental Bund Hotel on the Bund in Shanghai this time. The experience was amazing, so I have to share it with you all. 😎
The hotel is in a great location, right on the Bund, with the Huangpu River just outside the door and the bustling scenery of the Bund within easy reach. During the day, you can stroll along the river and see the World Architecture Expo Group, feeling the unique charm of old Shanghai. At night, the dazzling lights come on, and the neon lights of the skyscrapers in Lujiazui on the other side of the river are flickering. The dreamlike night view is simply stunning, and you can see this beautiful picture from your room. It's really worth it. 💕
Walking into the hotel, the decor is exquisite and grand, and the lobby is spacious and bright, with a very stylish layout. The front desk staff is warm and friendly, and the check-in process is efficient and fast, making you feel comfortable as soon as you enter.
The room was a pleasant surprise, with a cozy and comfortable layout, soft and clean bedding, and I didn't want to get up. The facilities are complete, and all the little details are well thought out, reflecting the hotel's attention to detail. Looking out the window, the beautiful view of the Bund unfolds like a painting, and you never get tired of looking at it.
The hotel's dining is also worth mentioning. The breakfast is quite rich, with local specialties that allow you to taste the flavors of Shanghai, as well as regular Western dishes to suit different tastes.
In addition, the hotel's service is very attentive. If you have any needs, just tell the staff, and they will do their best to help you, making you feel very warm.
In short, the Shanghai Bund Oriental Bund Hotel is a great choice for accommodation when visiting the Bund in Shanghai. Here, you can enjoy a comfortable living experience and the charming scenery of the Bund. Highly recommended to everyone. 💖

I am very happy to receive the invitation from Huazhu Group as a hotel designer to stay in the magnificent Shanghai Oriental Maxx Hotel, which has just been renovated and is located in the core of the Bund. This building was formerly the Shanghai Oriental Hotel. It was later acquired by Huazhu, renovated, upgraded and relisted.
Maxx by Steigenberger is Huazhu's main force in creating luxury lines. It has a strong German origin and focuses on creating a brand that integrates Chinese and Western styles.
The overall design of the hotel reflects the perfect balance of Bauhaus and Art Deco.
The interior of the room overlooks the bustling scenery of the entire Bund.
When you are in it, you can feel the retro old money style.
When traveling to Shanghai during the Spring Festival, this place is worth checking out.
If you want to have the same "Flowers" experience, it is recommended that you stay in 06 (suite)/07 (standard room).

The first time I brought my family to Shanghai, it's important to stay well and travel conveniently!
This time I booked the Shanghai Oriental Meilun Meilun Hotel, located in the heart of the Bund viewing platform, facing the Huangpu River and offering stunning views of the Bund and Lujiazui. The view of the Bund from the hotel is really amazing in the summer.

Before the trip, my child gave me a task, wanting to experience the double-decker bus and ship in Shanghai. The City Sightseeing Double-Decker Bus Line 2 and Line 10 are right downstairs from the hotel, and the ship to Pudong is just a 50m walk across the road, super convenient~
My parents came to Shanghai, Yuyuan Garden, City God Temple, Nanjing Road, and the Bund are all must-see spots in Shanghai. All of them can be done on foot from the hotel!

In Shanghai with a temperature of 40 degrees, we basically stayed indoors during the day. The hotel has multiple restaurants offering a wide variety of dining options, from local specialties to international cuisine, you can find it all here. Buffet breakfast, oil painting afternoon Shanghai Oriental Meilun Meilun Hotel tea, lobster German sausage dinner, exquisite and authentic dishes, every meal satisfies my taste buds. There is also a minibar in the room, and I will have a drink myself when the baby is asleep at night. The hotel also offers convenient delivery service, and some of our needs are served by intelligent robots!

Oriental Hotel
Because I wanted to see the Huangpu River three-piece set, I searched for many hotels and finally chose this cost-effective river view hotel, the relatively old Oriental Hotel, which is a brand under the Huazhu Hotel Group. I booked a Bund river view suite, which is not small in size, and you can see the street view four-piece set from the window. The location can be said to be quite good, the price is relatively cost-effective, and you can take a photo with the Oriental Pearl. The hotel is relatively old and the facilities are old. The hotel's sanitation is average, and for some unknown reason, there is a slight musty smell. The breakfast is mediocre. Here is a suggestion for friends, after booking the room, clearly state your demands to the front desk, first go to see the room, if you are not satisfied, change one, because some rooms do not have a good view.
