Had a good time at the Mauritshuis. The building is fantastic looking both from the outside and inside and the location of the building is also a great spot. Have to say that it is quite small and you could probably go through the whole museum in about an hour and a half. The main attraction is probably going to be the girl with the pearl painting but other then that it doesn't have that many well known paintings, beside some Rembrandts. I guess that makes it a good visit though if you want to learn about new artists. All in all had a good time. Got the say it was quite crowded and loud so don't except to have a quiet time there.

The Royal Moritz Art Gallery in The Hague is one of the most famous art galleries in the Netherlands. Because there is a collection of world famous paintings: girls wearing pearl earrings.
There is a large square in front of the museum that overlooks the skyline of The Hague. There is also a small market on the square selling baubles and snacks, and many cute food trucks stop here.
This "Girl with Pearl Earrings" is the treasure of the town hall, from the hands of the Dutch painter Vermeer in the 17th century. Before I saw the original, I didn't think it was a small painting. Fortunately, there are not many people in the museum, so you can enjoy this famous painting at close range without crowding people. I believe that everyone who sees this painting will sincerely admire the beauty of the girl in the painting. Some people also praised this painting as "the Mona Lisa in the North." Look carefully at this picture, you will have a feeling of looking at the girl, the bright eyes are shining, and a pearl on the earlobe is the crowning touch of the whole picture.
In addition to "Girls with Pearl Earrings", there are many famous paintings in the Moritz Art Museum. For example, a painting from the famous winter landscape master of the Netherlands, Henrik Avicamp. His style is humorous, and you can find many interesting details when you look closely. For example, one of them who showed his butt because of a fall.

This was the former Dutch governor of Brazil, the prince of the Netherlands, John Moritz, built his own palace in 1636-1641. Now it has evolved into an art museum
Unconsciously, I found that the museums in the Netherlands need to live by myself. The slow taste inside
Holland's museum is not as big as the world's largest museum, the Louvre Winter Palace Museum.
because the bigger you are, the more you feel that you are far away from them and it is easy to get lost.
And there are indeed a lot of museums in the Netherlands that have been converted from residential buildings. It is so intentional
It is more oriented to civilians. The museum is not big enough to visit. hh/
"Girl with Pearl Earrings" is I am here The most important reason for the museum
Moritz Royal Museum of the treasures of the town is the 17th century and Rembrandt Dutch painter Vermeer created in 1665 oil painting
many modern artists think that the girl's smile is enough Comparable to Mona Lisa's smile
