It is a beautiful and historic building. Its outside looks very fancy with lots of details and colorful roof tiles. Inside, there are pretty paintings on the walls and lovely stained glass windows. The church is important because it hosted important ceremonies like coronations and weddings for kings and queens. It's located in a nice area called the Buda Castle district. When the Matthias Church was built in the 13th century, it was the first and finest church in the town of Buda. It was a masterpiece of Hungarian Gothic art. It is located at 2 Szentharomsag ter, 1014 Budapest, and is open Monday to Friday from 0900-1700, Saturday 0900-1300 and Sunday 1300-1700. The most effortless reach is taking bus number 16 from Deak Ferenc ter metro station (M1, 2 and 3). The facade of the church flanked by the Bela and Matyas towers. The roof is decorated with glazed-tiles similar to Burgundian roofs. The lavish inner decorative paintwork of the building is inspired by the original, medieval patterns.

The Church of the Assumption of the Buda Castle, more commonly known as the Matthias Church, more rarely the Coronation Church of Buda, is a Roman Catholic church located in the Holy Trinity Square, Budapest, Hungary, in front of the Fisherman's Bastion at the heart of Buda's Castle District. According to church tradition, it was originally built in Romanesque style in 1015, although few references exist. The vaults of the Matthias Church are particularly spectacular, all inlaid in stained glass, and they are beautifully patterned to shine in the sun. There are several pointed towers on either side of the church, the tallest of which is cylindrical. The lower part of the lower part is covered with five long windows with pointed vaults. It looks like a carved ivory tower, and then it becomes steeper and thinner, as if a sword inserted there is pointing to the sky.
