Zermatt | Even the good-for-nothings have their own hiking trails
| The useless guy also has his own hiking route. Zermatt is a paradise for skiing and hiking enthusiasts, but the proper hiking routes are either uphill or several or dozens of kilometers long, which is too difficult for losers!
🙋🏻♂️Why not try this pseudo hiking route that is friendly to losers?
👍🏻Features:
🚶🏻♂️The whole journey is 3 kilometers, no fatigue and no leg strain!
⛰️Away from the main streets of the town, you can encounter different scenery!
📷It’s quieter with fewer people, so it’s easier to take photos!
🗺️It is roughly the route in Figure 2, divided into three sections
🔴Red line Figure 3 Figure 4
From Kirchbrücke 👉🏻 Blacknose Sheep Farm
We walked upstream along the stream without any climbing and always faced the Matterhorn. There were beautiful scenery all the way.
When you walk about 2/3 of the way, you can see several benches facing the Matterhorn. The cover and Figures 3 and 4 were all taken here.
The road turned into a dirt road as we continued walking forward, getting closer and closer to the farm. It is said that you can see black-faced sheep in captivity on the farm, but I only saw cows 🐮
🟡Yellow line Figure 5-8
Blacknose Sheep Farm 👉🏻 Boutique Hotel Matthiol
This is the most hiking-like section of the route, with some climbs.
Walk along the farm road to the end and turn right, you will see Figure 5. There is a small bridge not far away. After crossing the bridge, you will reach the starting point of the hike to the Matterhorn (Figure 7), but we will not go up. Continue forward and you can see the football field and cable car in the same frame in Figure 8, and a large piece of grass in Figure 9.
🌳There was no one on this grassland when I went there, so I could have fun as much as I wanted!
🛰️Search for Boutique Hotel Matthiol on your phone and walk in its direction. You don’t need to follow the map.
🟢Green line: flowing downstream, gentle downhill
Boutique Hotel Matthiol 👉🏻 Kirchbrücke
Along the way, you will pass by the local people's living area and the scattered wooden houses. There are also different scenery with your back to the Matterhorn.
When you walk back to Kirchbrücke, you can cross the bridge directly to the town to rest and replenish supplies. If you want to see Shaun the black-faced sheep, you can cross the bridge, turn right and continue walking along the stream for a short distance. There you can see a family raising little sheep called Shaun. Although there are not many of them, they are cute enough!
Good guys, this route is really not tiring and is worth taking. Get moving now!
