The buffet is lined with dishes made with plenty of fresh vegetables and local ingredients, so you can eat as much as you want until you're full. This is the time when new rice is starting to be lined up, so I had some freshly made new rice! The rice was very delicious. The restaurant itself is part of the art of the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale, and you can eat in a light blue space with the scenery reflected through the mirrors and tables. I visited during the winter, so the blue cafe and white snow were very beautiful. *You can enjoy the daily lunch set and cafe menu, which is perfect for a break after a walk. *There are about 40 art pieces scattered outdoors, but they were buried deep in snow during the winter.
